That may have been the most gradual edit in series history.First, we learned that Justin and Jennifer fight. A lot. As in 'Iran and Iraq would appreciate it if you two would cut back a little: you're making everyone else look bad.'
Then we eventually found out that Jennifer's a special needs teacher while Justin's a surgeon. This took a while because there was a lot of fighting to get through.
After a while, Justin told us he was gay, possibly just to get it in under the wire. (They did not fight about this. The church would have called miracle, but the whole 'gay' thing got in the way.)
Shortly after that, Jennifer informed the crowd that without an active program running in hand, her core memory dumps everything and goes into Safe Mode, which apparently works out to 'I'm just going to stand here and wait for someone to come along with a reboot.'
And then we found out they were eliminated.
Eventually.
Really, really eventually.
If anyone knows where this season's finish line was, you should be able to get there in time to see them start clapping.

I did wonder why they were revealing that Justin was gay at that time. I thought that maybe he hadn't come out to some people that he knew and that this was his opportunity. It also gave me a bad feeling that they weren't long for the race. That part was correct.
I also had a mean thought that Jennifer is a special needs teacher and she's being rather "special" in this episode. I know, it's wrong. I'll just sit in the corner now.
