I'm sure this will come in handy later!

Right now, they're the only team I really dislike. Something about their cockiness/arrogance (and consequent crummy gameplay), the sarcastic indignation/overly defensive reaction when Mel made an innocuous comment in the past episode, and some of their insider clips (they think they're such a threat to win this thing that Tammy/Victor and Margie/Luke are openly conspiring to eliminate them on the second leg.. hmmm... conceited and paranoid, party of two!)

At least Charla and Mirna were somewhat interesting. These guys are almost as bad as the family on "Little People, Big World."

I don't really dislike this team -- not yet. But I do agree that they were cocky in Leg 2 and thus deserved their 8th place status. As for why they might think they're such a threat to win the entire leg -- well, all-male teams have done very well on the Race. And this team's a strong team, since they're stuntmen. Of course, if they're cocky enough, I'll bet that even if they get to the final leg, they make a big enough mistake that they don't win.

Anyone? Anyone? They're so much worse than the "dumb" blondes! While those two at least have some awareness of their shortcomings, these two have three strikes against them:

X They are awful racers.
X In spite of this, they remain terribly overconfident.
X They are so boring!

I had just begin to hate on these two last week, with their comments about not wanting another bride. This week brought us the comment about getting a dot on their heads in India (oh, for crying out loud) and how there were girls in the race that were taller than they were put together.

They seem bordeline racist and possible he-man woman-haters to me. Not feeling the lvoe at all.

You mean the red dot comment? It was at the beginning, when they had just gotten into their cab from the Pit Stop to the airport. Something like: "Oh, we're going to India. Maybe we can get a red dot on our heads."

Libra: Oh yes, I had sort of forgotten about the ululating cry. I found that annoying and offensive, too.

Not to mention that Arab-style-scream that one of them let out during the camel task that managed to be borderline offensive on two levels -- not only is it mimicking a stereotype, but it wasn't even an accurate stereotype for the moment.

And what about the brilliant decision to move the barrels of hay and the SEARH THOUGH ALL OF THEM to find a little elephant? Have they not watched the show before to see how searching through hay for stuff can be time consuming? The really dumb part was the other option was so easy and even sounded faster. I was ticked when the producers fooled us into thinking the blondes were going to beat them to the mat, which they almost did. I'm sure everyone noticed when the blondes said something like "we have to hope someone runs into some bad luck" (or something similar) the split the screen at that exact moment to show the brothers.

Did anyone record and can re-watch a bit?
Seemed I heard something about 'moving the 9 barrels' and then finding the elephant.
Each bicycle had 9 barrels strapped on them.
So could/should they have taken only one bicycle of barrels?
If so they would have had only 9 barrels to search thru instead of 18.

And if they had 2 bicycles, wouldn't there have been 2 elephants? Mow I have to re-watch. I kind of glossed over that bit in my summary (<---shameless plug) because it was boring.

I think each team member HAD to ride a bike and unload the barrels (that surprised me as usually tasks like that only have one team member - usually the stronger one - do the task), but then I thought they should have had to find 2 elephants too. I was wondering about that, and was surprised they got the clue with just one elephant. Heck! If I had MY way, they'd STILL be on the ground looking for that thing! Dumb choice. . .

Not that I have an opinion one way or another ;)

What's starting to irritate me about them is that they're this year's 'nearly' team. They're nearly out. Their mistakes nearly cost them the leg. They nearly went the wrong way for fifteen rows of seats before Phil got their attention. They nearly wound up sleeping in the hay barrels. And so on down the line.

But if they keep going in that direction, they just might nearly win...

Last night showed exactly why I have always hated this team from the beginning!! And the racist comments in every country they visit are infuriating me!

I really don't understand where their delusions of grandeur come from. They really do think that they're the team to beat, that they're alpha males, that they will win a foot race, and on and on.

I would take Dandrew in a heartbeat over these two mean-spirited, wastes of skin who will possibly slither into the final 3 not because of any skill.

Loved the transition between Mark saying "we'd beat any of the other teams in a foot race" to a shot of Jen running past them at the zoo...

Yeah, they're worse than Dandrew. Glad to see I'm not alone on the hate train.

I was hoping a phuket car would take them out.

When Phil told them about the penalty, they didnt even say sorry or wow that was bad. Just stood there and look frustrated they had been penalised. Personally elimate them or keep Mel and Mike in and make them do another task next leg.
