I thought we were looking at the first-ever preemptive ban strike.

Then again, I also thought Yakko was going to pop up at the bottom of the screen and announce 'G'night, everybody!', so I may not be the best judge here.

I've actually heard of that place from some friends that went there while in Portland (one of them ended up moving there!) The other friend it from Texas, so of course when he saw a Tex a$$ donut on the menu he had to get one.

I think TAR missed out on this one. Remember several seasons ago during the finale in Chicago, the teams had to eat a big pan pizza before they got their next clue? I was thinking when they had to go to VooDoo donuts they would make them eat a donut before getting their next clue. But not just any donut, a Tex A$$ donut. Here is a link to a picture of one:

Maybe the producers are limited to the calorie intake per season and and the sheep butt fat stew used up their allotment.

Darlin', some of us have bladder control.

I liked the fact that the producers didn't just hand the next location to them on a silver platter and made them actually work for it. That's what puts the magic in TAR.

I knew exactly what it was when the clue was read. Why? Because I watch Anthony Bourdain's "No Reservations". I know that Voodoo Doughnut has a maple glaze and bacon doughnut and that they were told by the govt. that they could not sell doughnuts which included Pepto-Bismol as an ingredient. See how TV enriches my life? At least I think I have a life.
