...they can screw up the Race as well as any man can."Read the clues thoroughly" is probably one of the most fundamental elements of the Race, along with "Don't forget your clue," "Do a damn Detour option," and "Don't finish last." Oh yeah, and "Make sure you put the right kind of gas in your car."
For all the talk about how much they seem to hate men, Kelly and Christy sure haven't proven that they can compete with men or even dead weasels at this thing. That should have been a first-place finish for Kelly and Christy. But they spent however long digging in the sand and not having a clue where their taxi was that they dropped all the way to seventh and were lucky it wasn't last.
At least they can learn from these mistakes, and at least Anthony and Stephanie were eliminated, but still...two game-killing mistakes in one leg and they survived? Wow.

I'm wondering if they read men as well as the read clues.That could be why either
A. they pick the wrong men to have relationships with or
B. the relationships do not work out.
