"Best strategy for BB&D?"

My husband and I have discussed this a lot as we have watched the last few episodes ... but it seems to us the best strategy for this show is college kids! If your team can make it to a frat house or dorm, there would probably be dozens of impulsive, crazy college kids willing to pick up and drive you all over the place, let you crash on the floor, buy you food, etc. I just graduated two years ago, and I know I would have skipped class in a minute to drive these people somewhere. I'm not sure, but I think the person giving you a lift can drive you all over the place for twelve hours, so they could take you to the bb field, the stadium, wherever.

Anybody else have any thoughts on this? What would you do if you were on the show?

I have my own little world. But it's OK ... they know me here.

well - I agree with you...why do you think I wore fraternity letters.

But as it turned out, there were dozens of crazy, impulsive people all over the place that helped us out.

When travelling/racing, you really need to concentrate on progressing. If you can't get a task done then at least get a few hundred miles in the right direction.

Basically - beggars can't be choosers, and our begging landed us people who were willing to help - we were pretty lucky.

Great idea! But it shouldn't be limited to trying to get help at the frat houses. Go to the campus library, which is the social center on many campuses, and you can find all kinds of students looking for a distracting adventure.
