Most of the people that I've heard from who have watched this show like it, and that's always encouraging. With most of the stars getting paid nothing or peanuts, and spnosorship by three deep pocketed companies, I can't imagine the show costing much to make. However, there have been some discouraging developments:1) The time slot moved twice, with the last one at the inconvenient hour of midnight EDT.
2) The finale was booted over to The Deuce, a slightly lesser network (though I prefer it, because it doesn't waste time with 8 hours of Sportscenter a day - sorry SC fans).
3) ESPN is getting boffo ratings with the World Series of Poker.I'd appreciate some inside scoop, but I'll settle for idle speculation
at first I thought the time change was bad too, but the more i thought aboot it, I realized that maybe they switched it to mid-night so it could have Sportscenter as its lead-in. Which in a way is promising. Its not like they followed Outside the Lines Nightly. Also, I am pretty sure I saw ZERO commericals for BBD2, during the week. What gives?
LAST EDITED ON 05-04-15 AT 05:38 PM (EST)none of this matters because you're talking about issues that are nearly 12 years old now!! Trust me, the show is long dead and buried!
