While I think that the 5 of the first 20 were actually funny, the first 5 picked of the second group of 20 were not.One can easily see that they did not pick those that were the funniest but they picked those that they thought would portray good TV and provide diversity in the house.
It is a shame because comedy is not based on looks. You can see that they took at least one from each group: black, pregnant, older male, older female, tall, small, etc. I have seen a few of them as they came thru the Improv in Orlando and in the end I hope they do well. It should have been the audience picking the people as you could tell from the applause who were the better comics.
I COMPLETELY agree! I can understanding picking SOME individuals just for entartainment value as far as diversification...but to me it looked like they completely snubbed ALL the FUNNY people, and instead went for non-funny.I would think they would want to pick the funny people for entertainment value...being a comedy show!
VERY dissappointed! I hope the funny comics who didnt get into the house band together and storm the ship, and take all the laughs!
