Does anyone else think the show is turning into American Idol West? 'Let's take another look at the antics in the house. Now let's do our favorite jokes from the season. We'll be right back right after this quick look at our taking a quick look at quick looks.' With two hours to cover tomorrow, I fully expect routines from the ousted comics, yet another fond look back at the house, at least two reviews of past reviews, and the host may even say 'Mohr out'. At this point, we need a warning label to open the show. 'May contain 85% filler. Has been known to induce choking in focus group viewers. Don't even think about taking a bathroom break: we're watching you and Alonzo's routine will start fifteen seconds after you leave the chair.'The next inevitable step -- and I think AI will take it first -- is the 22-hour telethon. 'And while we're waiting on those voting results, let's raise a little more money for Simon's Kids. Remember: the talentless will never be able to afford those Julliard's lessons without your support.'
Yep. It's called stretching a half hour to two hours. For advertising sakes. I tape (others, Tivo)....and fast forward.
They could have the last 3 do 20 minute sets. Then we could see who had a lot of good material. Judging comics on 4 miuntes worth of material is tough. Of course, we won't get that, we will get 12 minutes from the three of them and a bunch of crap.
All I can say is I LOVE Tivo. Everyone should have it.

Ditto!I never had time to watch TV before.
Now I can pack two hours worth of shows into about 45 minutes before I go to bed!
LONG LIVE TiVO!!!!!

I may be alone here, but I actually enjoyed a lot of the re-cap stuff. One of my favorite things is to see comics make other comics laugh. Don't know why, I just do. The whole best of the worst thing was pretty lame, though. On AI, it's funny, here it was just painful.
