I watched this train wreck for about 30 min before finally giving up and deciding that whoever this bloated Courtney Cox Arquette with the horse teeth wants to pick out of the slew of horrendous guys that lined up for her is fine with me.

After all, one must wonder what type of man believes he will find his soul mate and destiny in such a fashion, and would one consider such a man to be dating material? Methinks: notsomuch.

Additionally, do they think I'll give a crap about these people after a whole YEAR to see if they're still married? I couldn't even watch the whole SHOW!

I haven't watched this show, and I will not. What I know of this show comes only from the commercials for it that I see, and from this board.

The commercials alone are so bad that I'd never watch this show. Just from the commercials, I can gather that the show is clearly scripted and staged, and that this whole thing is an exercise in stupidity.

OMH! I have to say I love this show! It's like the first auditions of American Idol. It's a riot watching the guys doing idiotic things to move on to the next level. Most of them are absolutely clueless and dilutional. Most of them are there to try to get some of the 1 million dollars. Even my DH sat to watch it with me and we had quite a few chuckles. I must say that the blond friend is an evil witch and don't think it's necessary to be outright rude to the guys but I'm sure she's put up to it and a lot of the guys deserve it

I agree that most of the show was a shameful display! How can these guys act like that and think anyone would want them? I think that the blond chick is just out of control with the insults. The comment to the guy with the piercings and the tattoos seemed like a kind hearted guy when he asked how he could improve himself and she busted on his teeth which was just plain mean. I think the next show should be about findiong her a guy and getting the stick out of her ass!

I'm with Nookie. I love this show. And I like Laura being on it. She's a female Simon, someone you love to hate. Can you imagine if she and Simon dated? And it caps my Wed nights off well.

Completely agreed. I think the show is hilarious and Laura cracks me up. I think she's horrible and mean and I love her for it! The show is, without a doubt, entertaining...even if you don't like any of the characters.

I admit, I watch the show. I don't understand where they get these guys from either and I don't understand why they picked some of the guys that they did to go onto the show. I never saw such an eclectic group of guys and I found some that the 3 gave the thumbs up to downright creepy!

I almost can't watch it because of the blonde friend who angers me just to watch her and her superiority. I mean, I know that she is most likely coaxed and I know that the men are a bit much at times, but you can tell, she has this bitchiness in her to start with! Tonight I found myself trying to will the guy with the wooden stick or sword to knock her in the teeth with it (Okay, this reality show is making me hostile!). I mean, granted, the guy is a little off but why would she keep trying to pursue grabbing it when he told her no. That pissed me off..leave the poor crazy guy with the wooden thing alone. By the way, did it bother anyone else that this guy is an elementary school teacher?

Anyway, next weeks previews look interesting so I may hang around for another week...do her friends ever leave? Please tell me yes. I could probably stand it if it were just her, I just can't take the THREE of them!

LOL. I was thinking the same thing He was bizarre.

I swear, these guys are hilarious! The old man in the gladiator suit .. The guy acting like a cherub (she actually picked him) .. the hillbilly hick with the barbie doll BWAHAHAHAHAHA!

Love this show! I do agree it would be great to see the tables turned on Laura though. She's one nasty lady. I read an article on Simon recently and he likes his women bitchy so they'd make a fine pair.

I love this show, Nookie! I wasn't too sure after the first episode--in fact I gave up after 10 minutes or so, but then they reran that ep 1 and I watched the whole thing. I think it is hilarious!

I think they were able to find so many guys to stand in line and apply for Cupid by simply going around to clubs and handing out whats'er-name's picture to the guys standing outside the door at closing time. You know, the desperite losers who keep asking "have you got someone?" to all the women as they leave. LMAO--these guys are everywhere, but I try not to see them.

I can't believe some of her picks, either! Cherub man? Tatooed skateboard guy? Come on! Some of the guys she would have settled on, but was vetoed by her two "friends" were pathetic! This woman does need help.

The Austrian guy was hilarious when he found out she was born in 77! Too bad he's a psycho. I think the show will go down hill when Simon stops commenting and the auditions are over though.

I was just remembering one of the losers. Lisa asks him if he would want to get married and he answers "Yes, for a year ... or so". BWAHAHAHAHA! BUSTED DUDE!

Should be interesting to see them all together. We know how the guys get when bunched together in one house (ala Bachelorette). Could be some good laughs.

Too bad we couldn't have the losers bunched in the house. Now that would be hilarious.

I have to admit I succumbed to watching the train wreck myself the other night. I have to agree that it was like the first few american idol episodes. She got all sorts of people from all walks of life to come "audition". That guy that flipped out in Miami had stalker written all over him LOL

What about the guy playing the guitar and scream singing in their ears? The guy that they picked to go on the show?? Am I the only person that found that guy a bit wierd??? I think his name is Omar and I was just shocked that they picked him. Yeah, great...he can sing in another language but NAHHHHH...a bit too intense for me!!

yeah, it became apparent to me after these auditions that miami is the single worst place to meet anyone

it's no wonder to me at all. only creepy old perverts move to miami, with aspirations of seeing teenaged T&A for ONE WEEK a year.

I was completely entertained by the first two "audition" episodes. Freaks on Parade, Parts I and II.

How does this show play out? Do the finalists all live together in a big house, ala the Bachelorette? Will the friends remain involved in the selection process? Who picks the "winner"? Lisa?

Guess I'll keep tuning in until I can answer those questions.

I'm rooting for sK8eR bOI.

I'm not too sure of how the whole show plays out. I do know that next week, they will narrow it down to 10 guys from 20. I saw Lisa in the previews but I'm not sure if I saw her "friends". I hope not and hope it is just her because I don't know how much more I can take of that one blond b****! And yes, then I believe they all live in a house together until the show is over. That's about all I know though!
