"Show Format - Eliminated Persons Date"

Question about the show format.

Let's use last weeks show as the example.

It started off with a (supposed) live eviction. Rob was eliminated first.

Immediately after Rob got evicted they went on to show the remaining 9 guys and their dates with Lisa.

Obvisiously the dates were taped. When were these dates taped? If they were done before the life eviction then Lisa already went on the second round of dates? Did she go out with Rob again and they just didn't show it? Or is the eviction not live as we are told they are? Rob was obvisiously surprised he was eliminated.

Does anyone know how this works? Do they have the eviction at an earlier time then go off and have the dates then come back in the same clothes and sit in the same place? I don't think so. They try to make the format like American Idol but it's easier to have people get eliminated then have people sing (which they wait til the next show anyways).

I think they probably film the eliminated persons date and then we just don't get to see it, because they don't want to let the person know beforehand that they are out of the running (if someone didn't have a date with her, I'm sure they would wonder why). I think the show is live, or if taped then it's only an hour or so before we see it (you can get tickets to it on the Cupid site and it lists the time as 4:30 pacific time, which would be about right by the time they get everyone inside, seated and get all things ready to roll).

I'm wondering how they fit all these dates in though, Lisa must be going on about two dates per day....poor girl must be getting tired.
