I went to one of those links and emailled Matt the following:
Hey Matt,
>
> Why were you so mean to Dave? I was really
> disappointed with how mean your group was. You guys
> really came off as sore losers. It just seemed like
> a lynch mob mentality.and my reply from Matt:
first thanks for emailing. second i dont understand
where people thought i was mean, remember ones its TV,
they show what they want, i was not part of the
originals, if they were up there i guess i would have
been meaner. but did you watch the show, dave turned
his back on his group of 4, when i came back the 2nd
time, he lied and weasled his way with me, i was upset
with the way he played the game, he told me things you
would not believe. as well as telling me that i could
not speak to charla unless i talked to him first. and
that did not swing with me, trust me i was there,
though you dont have to trust me, dave deserved it, he
even tried to get charla to split the money with him,
thats horrible, the game has a twist and he lost out.
remember its seemed like a lynching because dave was
the worst and pissed everyone off, i did not follow
the crowd, i did what i thought was right.
thanks for the email though..

Well, it's cool that he responded, but I have to ask. Please don't take this the wrong way though. Did you copy and paste the email? The reason I ask is that he didn't capitalize anything. I know you do in all your other posts. It just seems like such a Zach thing to do, you know acting like he's 14. The whole response sounds like a 14 year old wrote it.
I understand your doubts. I actually sent him another email and he replied once more, just as sloppy though.I can list his email if you like and you can start this dialogue with him. It's pretty evident he'll respond, but I am a little cautious because he was nice to respond, and I'd hate for him to get flooded with emails, but the email address is on a link to his web site that I found imbedded in one of these threads.
here's my response, posting his reply at the bottom:
Thank you for the reply. That's pretty screwed up

put it this way there was no one worse then zach and
amy. everyone played dirty, that had a chance, but you
have to, but i was there keith, tara a nd charla never
really played both sides, where when i was there dave
did. dave was really weak, though that is his
persoanilty and not a bad thin in the real world to be
vulnerable, but it was annoying to be around his i am
sorry i am sorry i am sorry routine. its hard to feel
bad for someone when they mess up constantly and he
did, and he always lied to everyone. though that was
his way to play the game, where i was mad was at what
he did to me not anyone else, because he caused
problems with the others it seemed he got ganged up
on. well honestly he did get ganged up, but dont you
think zack would have been killed by everyone if he
was there instead of dave, i would haVe been 30 times
worse. put it this way it was a game, and most people
there were like little kids, to me the right people
won.
it was just a game, i am sure everyone has growing up
in this world, but i am sure the people on this show
all learned something, or at least you hope, but it
was good tv.
anytime for the response...
thanks for being cool
Matt is a musician, he might not really care about spelling and punctuation. I think it is great that you wrote to him and that he replied. It's too bad he came off with such a bad attitude at the end, because I think it hurt him in the public eye. I guess if he had been more laid back he would have ended up on the cutting room floor with Kavita!Chrissy gal

Thanks for not taking offense, I just find it funny that a man of his age can't capitalize. Thank you again for sharing the emails. Even without the lack of capitalixation, it does show his character. He did come out looking really harsh and bad in the final episode.Thank you again!
Interesting that part of what Matt says is what I felt. I did think Keith, Tara and Charla played one way and Dave played his own game. And I believe Dave probably did tell Matt that about talking to Charla. Dave was very possessive of Charla. And we did hear Dave telling Matt exactly what to say and to who at Pandora's Box. Dave did want to control the game.
