It's time to organize our spoiling and thoughts on who's going to get selected by Evan to be his mate at the end and get snookered by the news that he's not really a $50-millionaire.Please feel free to post any new spoilers or serious speculation in here (let's leave the completely unfounded speculations out of here).
ZORAIn Favour:
- more wholesome and ‘mysterious’
- National Enquirer spoiler that she wins
- less likely to have a money issue over Evan’s true wealth
- has Evan all tongue-twisted, meaning he’s falling for her? (see: “Did you buy a breast… uh… dress in Paris?”)Against:
- is she “hot enough” for Evan?
- freaked Evan out a couple of times with her psychic dreams – cold environment in limo to airport after their breakfast
- question whether she truly likes Evan or not – will it show enough in the final episodes to turn him off?
SARAHIn Favour:
- was picked first in the last two eliminations
- advantage in the, uh, mammaries
- more willing to ‘put out’ for Evan to the point where they ‘bonded’Against:
- would the network be okay with a bondage fetish star winning? (counterpoint: Heidik, Brian)
- is in it for the money – how will she react to finding out he’s not a millionaire?

There's been so much speculation about a double twist in the end. If the twist comes from the woman, I see Zora as the least likely source of this. Therefore, she must be the source of this twist. I think it's a set-up, Zora wins, gets the confession from Evan, and then gives a confession of her own. I'm not sure what the nature of it would be. But for her to "win," Evan has to be in on it too.Possible twists: Evan really does have money, Zora has money, Evan and Zora pull a fake Cinderella wedding and the joke is on us. Any other ideas?
I think things also point to Zora winning and that she is involved in the twist. I really like her and would hope that this cruel, cruel joke would not be played on her. I also think that maybe Evan is playing dumber than he really is, and maybe he's playing this role in order to really weed out the bad ones. Can he really be the dope we're seeing on t.v.?But I would love to see Sarah win and then see her reaction to the truth.
In last week's preview, didn't they show two confession clips: the one in the salon which we've seen ad nauseum, and a second one (to the loser, presumably) in the kitchen? Anyone else remember this?
A few days ago I heard (while I was in another room & not watching anything) a very quick TV blurb on Joe--something to the effect of 'what will happen when the final two girls learn the truth?', and then viewers are invited to watch ET at 6:30.I think maybe he tells both girls the truth before his final pick. Somehow, could this be the set-up for the "twist"? Would Sarah react very negatively to this news? I think so. Zora not so much.

I seem to remember that promo too Swami....and I thought the same thing. If he has to tell the girls before his final pick, then I can see Sarah just #####-slapping him and storming off muttering something about swallows or something like that.
That would probably lead alot more to him picking Zora at the end.

>news? I think so. Zora not so much.If that's true about both girls learning the truth, then I'm now leaning towards Evan initially planning on selecting Sarah as his winner, but making a plea to the producers (a la his late night bitchfest a couple episodes ago) to agree to talk it out with both girls first before announcing a winner. Sarah yowls so Evan says "ok, see ya" and picks Zora.

>I also think that maybe Evan is playing dumber than he really is, and maybe he's playing this role in order to really weed out the bad ones. Can he really be the dope we're seeing on t.v.?I didn't tape this series but there is something I keep remembering from the first episode that didn't quite fit for me. Evan made some kind of reference or analogy to Michaelangelo. Would a guy who doesn't know what ravioli is be making art history references? Any one else remember this?
Yes. He compared his bull-dozing life to Michelangelo. He says he feels like M. when starting a new project, shaping the earth (constructionism - a new art form), etc. I really wouldn't read too much into it though. He might have been comparing himself to Michelangelo, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle.
> I really wouldn't read too much into it though. He might have been comparing himself to Michelangelo, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle.
I was wondering where he would have heard of him. That probably explains it.
>maybe Evan is playing dumber than he really is<Oh I don't think so. I've watched him on ET and other shows. He seems like the same doofus we see on the show. LOL!
The "butler" is the REAL millionaire, who lent his chateu to Fox in return for the funny role in the series. After Evan confesses that he's a poor schmo, the Butler triumphantly announces that HE is in fact the millionaire. Sarah jumps into his lap, and more slurping noises ensue!
Monsieur Pepe,Is there something WEIRD about a SUBSTITUTE teacher who is 29 years old???????
So... you'd think a 34- and 35-year-old substitute teacher would be even weirder? As it turns out, that's exactly what I was for the past two years before moving up to full time this year.
(don't worry... I got what you meant)

i think it is a little weird. i know that teachers barely make enough to live on and subs make even less.

Actually, the income isn't too bad, depending on where you teach and how much seniority you've got. Colorado seems like a pretty upscale state compared to most of the others (I'm not up on the census figures, so don't shoot me please) so it could be that she does reasonably well enough to get by.Of course, for all we know, the twist is that Zora is the rich one not Evan, and the sub teacher thing is a smokescreen. We'll find out awfully soon!

Here is one no one has thought of...Joe picks Sara (for obivous reasons) but she is in it for the money- so she dumps him.
He is waiting in the ballroom at the end and out walks......ALEX (just what has been happening behind the scenes???!!!)
They return to his crappy apartment, she overhauls it, and he is on TRADING SPACES!
were given in last night's previews of the "Final Finale". In the first footage, Evan was facing to his right. In the second, he was facing to his left. Unless there is some Neleh trickery/switchery going on, this seems to be evidence that he does indeed confess to both women.Re: the twist...I have always felt like they would work some trick at the end to make Evan an actual millionaire...maybe give him a million just for finishing the show or something...but that would be sort of lame. There is another thread suggesting that he is offered a million if he is willing to dump both girls. That would indeed be a pretty good twist.
Here is yet another option...suppose they told him he must confess to both girls about his falsehoods, then, based on their reactions he must pick one and, if he can get the one he picks to agree to marry him, he will get a million, but he can't tell them about that aspect of it???
I will bet there are LOTS more tricky options! Any one else care to weigh in???
"Onward Thru the Fog"

I like this idea! Even if they annul it the next day, it's a $500,000 payday for each of them. Maybe psychic Zora can figure this one out for herself.

Maybe Paul is the millionaire and the big twist is that Evan is his illegitimate son and Zora the illegitimate daughter. Paul goes to Fox and they help him get these two to the show telling Evan he will win a million if he picks Zora. He is totally up for it considering the money, Zora is a dupe in all of this and ends up in love with her brother and Paul is reunited with his two children.
Now that is what I call twisted!Welcome to the boards mjw215! Check out the Off Topic forum where we all go to play.
