Vic... the smart one. He has never mentioned being interested in Erin all along.... he has always been "raving" over the chance at a million dollars. No surprise here.

I think after seeing how the dates went Vic made the right decision. Why wait around to be picked off? The only reason she was gonna keep him around was cause she didn't think he'd take the money. You see the girl you're interested in locking lips with someone else and not so much as glancing at you...if it was $1 he shoulda taken it. He wasn't headed anywhere.

I agree...after the double date with Chad and Erin, I wouldn't need a brick over my head to see that I wasn't in the top running. You know if you are or you're not. The only dumb thing is that he should've held out for more money. The host did say that he was going to START the bidding with $10,000. Otherwise, Vic was smart. He didn't sell his soul to the network, oops I mean devil, like Eric was so quick to say. Speaking of Eric, I CAN'T believe she likes this guy!!! He AND his hair are so slimy.

I think the reason he didn't wait was because it wasn't the money. It was the chance to leave he wanted.

Good point! I didn't think of that. I was thinking that maybe he thought someone else would take it and he wanted to make sure he got it and left. But you could be right!

I agree. I think Vic was going to announce his departure anyway. Then they offer him money to do so, and he smiles as he drops the ring... thinking he just came away with $10 G that he otherwise wouldn't have had.

Of course, the producers probably were aware of his intentions, and arranged the money payout to add drama (and reason) to his leaving. Not a bad idea on their part.

I also thought he told Erica with a reasonable amount of class.
