Haven't seen any new posts and I was just wondering if anyone still watched. I wonder what Rachel will do...
Hi shabalaba, I am still watching but I gotta admit, I really don't care what Rachel does. I guess I care more about what the guys will do. So what do you think??

I am still watching only because I honestly believe this "unscripted" reality show is really scripted in that the producers are coaching everyone along and splicing together a story line that will probably only disappoint us in the end. What was the deal with a champion in the bow and arrow throwing the contest with Rachael? I still haven't figured out that strategy.
I totally agree. This is horribly scripted. I lost interest.
I am watching since I am summarizing the episode.

I have my positivism - Tammy (trading spouses)
when she called Morgan "Jordan"? They kept saying, "is it just a big coincident (sp?)?"What do they mean by that? I would just think it was a mistake!
Can anyone splain?

well, i didn't see it, so i don't know for sure. is there a jordan, too? maybe it was freudian? is the host's name jordan? maybe she secretly wants him instead. i don't know. i jumped ship on this show a few weeks ago in favor of the crappier casino. not sure why, but i'm okay with the decision so far...~ cq

I took it that she knows about Jordan (the host) and about the money. So far, there hasn't been much "Love" interest and more interest in how to play Rachael for a chance at $1,000,000. I hate to say it but these guys are not genius's but they do know when twists will appear and their chance at the $1,000,000.It's too bad Rachael can't do a better acting job in falling for one of the men.
Has Jordan not been seen with Rachael? And if she hasn't, what show do the men think Rachael thinks she is playing?

I missed last weeks episode and this week I was watching it side by side with "The Casino." So someone else would have to answer if there has been a scene with Jordan, Rachael, and the guys. If not, then the men are justified in their suspicions.
What the guys were told was that she does not know what show she is on and that she does not know anything about the money. They have not seen her with Jordan. The first episode, they had a female host preside over the eliminations. Jordan told the guys that she was part of keeping the premise of the show a secret from Rachel. Neither host has been present at the eliminations since
At least that is one good point. It was a nuisance for them to constantly remind us of what we actually knew was going on.
Who is still watching.I will watch as long as I think there's still a chance of seeing Rachel in a thong in the hot tub.

Dunno why because he kind of seems like a player...but I am definitely intrigued by Mike. I find him to be very sexy because he has this mysterious quality and he's intelligent and confident without coming across as arrogant. And he's easy on the eyes and has a nice gaze. He might be too cerebral for Rachel though. I think (if he is'nt playing for money) he would bore of her simplistic nature and somewhat forced bubbliness very quickly. (if I see her crinkle her nose and squint one more time I think I'll scream).I really dont see Rachel in any long term commitment with any of them. She seems too immature and not ready for anything serious. I dont think she's at the right place in her life right now for it, she's just an opportunist looking to further her 15 minutes in the spotlight...and I never feel like she's coming across as the real deal...
Preston and PJ seem like a long term match though. Hope it lasts.
Yep, still watching. Rachael makes me want to vomit. By now, you'd think we'd see some tiny spec of a softer side to her. Most of the guys are schemers, but I do tend to feel sorry for them. I think the one tall blonde guy has genuine feelings for her, so he'll probably be the one she obliterates in the end.
If he just whispers to himself three times, "This is not what I signed up for." I think he'll make it through without too many bruises.
I agree with you, Rachel is so mean and talk about unable to be charming !!!!!! Ice water through those veins. I don't know if she came back too soon ( big boo boo on the network) and we all remembered her too well and just want her to get dumped or exactly what it is (breathe) but this is the worst episode they have ever had. I'm still watching though, just hoping she gets dumped. I'm looking forward to it.
I'm still watching too. I actually like Rachael and hope she will forget about the money and fall for a guy.

That would be the rehab in her we are all looking for, but now it seems (with the current commercials) that since she slipped with the Jordan-Morgan thing, they are all out to get her.The opposing parties, in this case the guys, never asked probing questions to get to the heart and soul of her, so in a way, it's their own fault if things don't work out. They are so consumed with the nature of the show, they don't know how to rise above the games and get back to their natural instincts. Do their current actions mimick how they'd be in a real relationship - little to no effort?
If the producers are worth anything, they'll find a way to get the ball back in her court as they seem to side with liquid evil more often than not.
It looks like Rachel is doing a good job, two of the three left in the game are holders of $1 checks and she knows Mike has a $250,000 check. I get the impression she is definitely playing for the $1,000,000.It would be funny if one of the guys with a $1 check is picked by her and he turns her down.

That is both my DW and my own greatest hope. That Rachel picks a guy with a $1 check, and he takes the money over her.
Could the script that for me please?
Now that would be a slap in the face.

Is anyone else creeped out by Mike? He's uncomfortably intense and Rachel is too self-involved to even notice. She seems to think it's charming. Plus, it doesn't help that he has a Frankenstein's monster-like forehead. On their second date of the day, she was so desparate to get him to say anything concrete and when he finally did all he really said was, "we've got something here." All that supposed intensity oozing from him and those are the only direct words he's spoken.
>Is anyone else creeped out by
>Mike?Yes! I can't put my finger on why. But he gives me the creeps. I think he could be a stalker. I just don't like his personality.
LAST EDITED ON 08-03-04 AT 01:41 PM (EST)I was watching and then I got bored. So now I just tune in to read the summaries.

I don't like Rachel. So this show has lost it's charm for me. I don't like Mike either. I like Caleb and David. And they both have $1. So at this point I don't know what I want to happen. I want Rachel to lose. But I want Caleb or David to get some money. They should have picked a more likeable female.
Ok! So it looks like I'm not alone here rubber necking this train wreck!!!!! I agree...
*Rachel is not a likeable female to carry this season of FLOM.
*Yes Mike is kinda creepy
* I would like to see Caleb or David keep the Dollar. How creepy was that when she was kissing morgan and she opens her eyes and he was staring at her! She is so into herself she actually thought it was because he was "into" her!!!!! Yeah right! he was just going through the motions with a million big ones on his mind!

What a joke!

I dunno.
It could have been a sign of true love;
Mike's an odd one.
He throws the archery contest just to give Caleb a chance,
so he has his own self-justifying sense of honor and romance.
I think he's fool enough to be head-over-heels for Rachel,
and maybe he just opened his eyes to assure himself that she was there and this was all really happening.
but didn't it bug you that even though he "threw" the archery, he shot some pretty decent shots following- and Rachel never noticed the amazing hits as she sat RIGHT NEXT TO THEM on her alone time with Mike? It's been bugging me since that episode. I really really want to smack her.
Mike is the one who didn't want to give it up too much without talking first - how refreshingly charming in a man and hysterically funny... another 180.When he finally laid one into her and he opened his eyes, you could see his libido floating on air. He's probably one that normally jumps into the sack right away, falls hard and gets hurt a lot.
And he says he didn't want to kiss Rachael too much while she was still kissin' on the other guys too. I guess I've been out of the loop for too long, I had no idea these thoughts entered the minds of men.
