What-what-what was that? Catching grapes in his mouth? I wonder if he chases sticks!

They did tell him this would be televised, didn't they? Or was that secret too?

LAST EDITED ON 06-09-03 AT 10:23 PM (EST)

Could this show be ANY more fun? Here we have this guy giving lawyers, I say LAWYERS a bad name , and all these girls live with it because of that million dollar check.

Except for Stacy getting booted, this show is really beginning to grow on me.

Just kidding about the lawyers! *waves at AyaK, shakes, and all the other Legal Eagles around here*

Hi weecama! Welcome to the boards.

This guy is getting worse. Not only is he a drip, but he's a dirty scumbag drip.

Poor little Paige. She's so young and naive (at least I think she is). Hope she doesn't get too hurt in all this.

Just confirms that old line..you can dress him up but you can't take him anywhere!! I guess the grape trick was a preface to his "take off my boots so I can stare at your cleavage" one! This guy is SUCH a loser, I can't believe I never dated him!!

Did anyone catch that disclaimer at the end? The 3rd paragraph said something about the producers having the right to meet with contestants to determine the outcome of the show. What was THAT about? I did know that they must have talked to him about apologizing for his behavior..I'm sure he wouldn't have realized that he did anything wrong on his own. It wouldn't have been good for the show's premise if all but one of the women HATED him and we knew they were going for the money.

What was hilarous to me, though, was at the end, during the elimination. Maybe it was edited, but none of the rejected girls came out with "he was a jerk/sleazebag/dirtball; I'm glad I'm not here, anymore" type of stuff that I was expecting.

Unlike "Mr. Personality", where guys were unmasking as fast as they could to get away from Hayley, these girls are sticking around, hoping against hope for the million dollars. This show is being well set up, and it should be fun as it continues (but that, of course, is why the disclaimer is needed! )

Welcome to the boards okdebi! I didn't catch the disclaimer at the end of the show-that's interesting...I'll have to look for it next time. I have to agree with SurvivnDawg-I was surprised at the end that there was no "he's such an idiot, I'm glad I'm out of here" I was also surprised that none of them left-guess it shows what a person will do when a million dollars is on the line.

Thanks for the welcome! You have to look hard for the disclaimer, it flashed for maybe 5 seconds. I happened to read the 3rd paragraph which was about the producers; a friend of mine read the last. He told me that in that paragraph, it stated that the million dollars was paid out over 40 years which would be $25,000, before taxes, a year. I found that interesting..I thought that it was going to be a lump sum.

And really, if there was no money involved I think all of them would have left with maybe the exception of Paige who is obviously in dreamland. I really can't believe any of them bought his "so called" apology, most of them seem like intelligent women. You are absolutely right..the million is what made them stick around.

I saw the disclaimer also. It goes by very fast, and the part I saw was that the million dollars is payable as a forty year annuity! I think it was 40 years, anyway... that comes to $25,000/yr. Not a whole lot yearly to have to put up with The Sleaze.

The guy is a dork! At first I thought he seemed like a gentleman, that thought immediately changed.

I also posted another topic I was curious about, did anyone notice they showed someone opening the box holding the money for next weeks episode? It looked like Paige but i'm not sure.

At any rate, I can't stand Kelly either. They deserve eachother.

The vast array of talent this guy is showing is REALLY impressing these girls. The girls left look like idiots, and the girls who are, "He's such a great guy!" or "There's just something about him".

I think the girls going home can go home with their heads held high, knowing they are above the standards of this creep!
