I have seen Game of Thrones season 1 and very much impressed by the way this show is directed and characters are placed.

Loved it. May have to break down and get HBO when the Season 2 starts.

Did not like the barbarian dying (can't remember his name).

Killing off Eddard Stark was consistent with the books, at least.

Season 2 started Sunday. Looks to be even more bloodthirsty than Season 1.
