Because I love cheap laughs and have a cheesy fangirl crush on Joey Fatone I am going to give this show a chance. You'll all be watching Big Bother and I'll be watching people butcher song lyrics while I laugh my hiney off. Sure the novelty will wear off fast but Joey will be there. *sigh*

I watched. I was underwhelmed. I don't think I'll repeat the experience. I will however, watch Fox's version tomorrow. Just for scientific research purposes, of course.

Yep, not as amusing as I hoped.

Too bad they couldn't make sure the singers doing the first part of the lyrics could sing in the same key as the song. Some of them were really strangling on some of those note.

Even though I think they cast it from AI rejects so far I like this better than the Singing Bee.

Modeled after Millionaire (gets harder as you go on and you lock in the answer and there are three lifelines back ups).

I never quite figured out the rule in Spelling Bee they went from one kinda thing to something else and it seemed awfully disjointed, and is NBC cheap or what, I think they were $50,000 at the end and this goes to a million.

Besides, how can you not love a tap dancing entomologist who wants to spend $25,000 on a really cool microscope and a really big ant farm?

DFtL definitely had more PERSONALITY. The karaoke thing could be good for the show. It certainly makes it more entertaining. I, as usual, found the pacing to be slow.

This one won't make my "must watch" list, but it will be fun to watch on occasion when nothing else is on or during commercial breaks.
