I'm digging this show a lot, so thought I would bump this thread in hopes that it will get one more person watching the show. The characters are great - it really is hilarious to poke fun at our inner (and outer?) geekness.

Tons of good clips available on YouTube, if you are interested.

According to Wiki the rating are doing well, so I hope the show stays around.

I know Emy is watching. Anyone else?

I actually started watching it a few weeks ago when I started watching "How I Met Your Mother" for the first time (thanks to RTVW for that too!) A great combo of shows!

I think Sheldon is hysterical. I really enjoy the show - it makes me laugh!

My favorite two episodes are Season 2, Episode 7, particularly this.

And the whole Time Machine episode.

Purchased the first season on DVD and gave up on it after episode 3. I guess I should try again

Yes, you should. I can't remember the first few, but it certainly got better as the year went on. And this season has really been good.

My absolute favorite moment was this season when Penny gave Sheldon the napkin autographed by Leonard Nimoy. The attempt to reciprocate followed by the awkward hug was both endearing and hilarious.

That? Was a brilliant ep/scene.

She apologized that the napkin was used, he freaked about having Leonard Nemoy DNA and only needing a willing uterus to make another Leonard Nemoy, and she responded, uncomfortably, that her gift was only the napkin. LOL

Theirs is really the best relationship on TV. And, surprisingly, maybe the most realistic.

All three of us love this show at the Silver household. It is consistently funny each and every week. It is currently my favorite comedy, but I have not seen all of season I. I'll have to watch it soon.

DD and I used to be Office fans, but they pale in comparison, and their show has gone downhill.

David Galecki did play on a show with a DJ and you have the right decade but the wrong show. David Galecki was on Roseanne as Darlene's boyfriend and ultimate husband David and they had a character named DJ who was her younger brother.
Scott Weinger played Steve on Full House and was Candace Cameron's (DJ's) longtime boyfriend. So unless there was another boyfriend of Candace Cameron's character on Full House, you've mixed things up.

I love this show. I haven't had a favourite sitcom for so long because most of them are not that funny or they don't appeal to me. But this show is absolutely brilliant! I love the nerd/geek jokes because they are the jokes that I tell myself, being white and nerdy. But I also enjoy the other jokes too.

I've determined that one of my friends is totally Sheldon, and I am Howard, because he's an engineer. I enjoyed the season finale watching the guys in the Cheesecake Factory's walkin freezer. Ah, those boys would never last in the Arctic Circle, or even southern Canada or northern US.


Three is the perfect number.

CBS has moved BBT to 9:30? But 8:00 is their spot! 8:00!!! Does McDonalds change the Big Mac? Is Wednesday comic book day? What is the world coming to? Besides, Sheldon's head will explode if he's opposite Heroes. No, we cannot allow this!

Anyone see the new season premiere promo last night? All the guys are sporting the caveman look, except for Sheldon (of course). This show just makes me laugh because we all know a Sheldon, somewhere in our lives.
