Is nobody watching this gem? By far: the.best.show.ever.made.

So far in 2 episodes of Season 3 we have a smackdown that would put Jack Bauer to shame, secrets, betrayals, quitting smoking, and excellent dialogue. Wow, everytime it ends, I wish I had 2 more hours of it.

Denis Leary totally deserves an Emmy, for both acting and writing. Brilliant.

I'm glad some people are discussing this show! I love this show! The last episode was really funny! I loved the part where Tommy was conversating with all the "crazy females" on his cell phone (Janet, Sheila, his sister, Mrs. Turbudy (sp?), and someone else...I forget). Loved the part where he used the excuse of having sex with Mrs. Turbudy because he didn't have enough semen sample. Then got a bit emotional with the one guy who lost his life savings to the hooker/porn star and realizing he didn't have to commit suicide.

I'm getting ready to discover this show (on DVD) now that I'm almost caught up on The Shield. If it's 1/2 as good as that, I'll be thrilled!

I'm hooked. I didn't even hear about this show until this season. I love it. I always liked Dennis Leary. He's so politically incorrect and coarse and I find that really refreshing.

I just had to bump up this thread after seeing the "Hell" episode. Getting married in a cemetery?!?!!! And right after Johnny's funeral??? WTF?!?!

When Tommy was apologizing to Johnny, and Johnny waking up ???freaked me out.

And Hoobie, no way on Earth is this show as good as the shield and I can say that and be 100% sure even though I've never seen one ep. If it was even half as good it would have alot more of a following and at least SOME critical eclaim. As it is, I've never heard anyone say anything about this show, either positive or negative.

I have never seen The Shield, although DH watches it religiously. He loves both, and can't pick a favorite.

It is very unfortunate that so few people are watching it. The finale was tonight. Left a bit to be desired, but I will ache until its return... (And, Nip/Tuck starts next week - which IMO is about 75% as good as Rescue Me)

In in a nutshell? Sheila & Tommy definitely need to stay away from each other.

Tommy couldn't turn in his retirement papers. Tommy told Sheila at their new house. Sheila crushed more pills into his drink. He passes out. She starts to wreck house and inadvertantly starts a fire. She can't figure out the fire extinguisher. She runs to her car and starts yelling at herself. Tommy wakes up, still drugged, trying to get out. Sheila finally calls 911 but doesn't even know her address, but runs back in the house to save Tommy. It shows Sheila pulling Tommy out, but they collapse behind a sofa with flames growing everywhere. They then show a scene with passersby aweing and ooing at the burning and exploding house...and it ends. Will there be another season?

The probie dude has a 3-way with a couple and finds out during sex that he's not bisexual...he's straight.

Sean & Maggie attempt to have sex in public as much as they can.

Lou goes out to see a boat, but finds that he can't get past the dock; apparently, he's deathly afraid of water motion.

Franco takes lieutenant exam, but gives up.

Did I miss anything? Great episode. Can't wait till next season. There's no way Tommy dies! It just can't happen!
