I caught the new season of this game show on Tuesday nights, on the Comedy Channel. It's a cross between Fear Factor and Jeopardy. It has hilarious stunts and messy alternatives when a question is answered either correctly OR incorrectly. Made me laugh out loud. Watch it and see...

So, someone decided to resurrect Family Double Dare?

Talk, talk, it's only talk . . .

Worse. This show pretends to be about answering questions under pressure. It's actually an excuse to electrocute people, have them snuggle with people of the gender they're not attracted to, wrap hundreds of rubber bands around their faces, explode firecrackers under their noses, and anything else that could A. keep them from answering the question and B. make people tune in to see just how discomforted/tortured they are. And all this stuff happens regardless if you get the question right or not -- for the electrocution example, you get shocked just for ringing in.

Sort of like a Japanese game show, only with British origins.

You must have missed the episode where they break bottles over the back of the contestants heads for ringing in, and for getting questions wrong.

The show is like a trainwreck. I shouldn't watch, but yet I cannot turn away...

I watched part of an episode the other day in which the remaining two girls were asked a question. Then, they were suppose to each run to a nude female model and find the answer stuck to her body, and rip it off with their teeth.

...And then, after two questions, they made the two girls put on special glasses that made everything look blurry and cloudy. It was pretty... wrong. But I watched.
