"Prison Break - It looks like a "breakout " effort!"
Posted by RealityMom on 08-29-05 at 02:52 AM
Fox's new show has been getting great reviews. Entertainment Weekly gave it an A- and TV Guide calls it "instantly enjoyable." Both reviews agree that the plotline is improbable and that viewers will have to suspend belief but otherwise, the rest is pure entertainment. The acting is great and the stars are charismatic. I've always loved prison dramas and films that show the intricate planning of the escape, so I'm really looking forward to watching. The show has a special two-hour premiere tonight at 8.

I just heard an ad on radio for this. I guess I read something recently about filming that was happening in Joliet at a closed down prison (they filmed there some years ago for Blues Brothers). Since 24 won't come back until January maybe I'll give this one a try...like I don't have enough to do!

From what I've heard, it has a strong resemblance to 24, as in 'the captain has lit the 'please turn off your brain' sign'. There's enough insane backstory and desperate attempts to build a series mythology to make for any three seasons of The X-Files. Which doesn't mean it isn't good. Just really hard to swallow.

Well, I watched it last night, since Mr B was so interested. I'll be tuning in again. It's an interesting show, even though there are some plots holes big enough to drive a Hummer through.

I watched most of it last nite, missed some stuff here and there due to kids and first day of school homework, etc. I'll also be watching again.I missed the first 10 minutes so someone please tell me. Who or What is Fibonacci? and why are all the bad guys so interested in finding him. Seems that is a big part of the show and I was clueless.

LAST EDITED ON 08-30-05 AT 10:09 AM (EST)I had the impression that Fibonacci was a mob guy who'd been flipped into an informant & that he was the one responsible for the prison mob guy's incaration. Mob guy on the inside seems to want payback in the form of Fibonacci sleeping with some fishes.
I think they think Fibonacci (who seems to be in witness protection) is going to rat out more of them, so they want him dead before that happens.
Edited to add: I thorougly enjoyed this show--despite having to suspend some disbelief. Sometimes, that's what entertainment's for. Can't wait to see how it unfolds.

Having 'slept late' for 24 and Lost - I made the effort to watch this, given the critical reviews I have read. I am very glad that I did - haven't seen a drama program so intriguing in ages and will definitely tune in for future airings. Agree that one must suspend belief but that's part of the appeal! Plus - I think the 2 brothers are really amazing - was one of them Dracula in the last Blade movie?

Yep, the actor who plays Lincoln did play Dracula in Blade 3. I knew he looked familiar.

There was definitely a lot to digest in this episode. The show has lots of layers. I think that the two brothers are the best part of the show. They actually look like they could be brothers (half brothers, I assume since their last names are, conveniently, different). They have a Vin Diesel/young Sylvester Stallone quality to them that'll keep me coming back for more.
I thought I recognized Patricia Wettig, from "Thirtysomething" as the woman who's part of the conspiracy. EngProf, I think you're right about Fibonacci but how Michael was able to find him when the Mob couldn't will be one of the interesting things to watch for.
This is definitely one of those shows where my husband and I will be sitting in front of the set- with him saying "Do you believe..." and with me saying "Don't analyze it so deeply... just enjoy."

This show is going to have the same net effect on me that Desperate Housewives does. That is, it's got an interesting/complicated enough storyline that I'm intrigued about how it's all going to play out, but I don't think I could stand actually watching the thing. With DH, it's because the women on the show are potentially the most aggrevating people on the planet. With this show, it's twofold: the dialogue and the complete suspension of disbelief.Let's be frank here; this show (at least the pilot) has simply putrid dialogue. That combined with pulling out every prison stereotype in the book without any sense of nuance or perspective makes for a serious cringe factor. Then there's the whole believability thing. Again, being frank this show makes "24" look like cinema verite in that regard. Dood's tattoo? Yeah, I'm buying that...and 50 miles of coastline in Kansas along with it. And that's just the tip of the iceberg.
Still, I give the creators credit for seeming to have thought the narrative out pretty well (or so it would seem). Now I just need to find someone to update me weekly...

Wentworth Miller is definitely hot! (I wonder if he's got a nickname?) We can all get an extra fix of him this Friday on Jennifer Love Hewitt's new show "Ghost Whisperer". There's something about his face that's really appealing- a brooding quality or the way his emotions show, I'm not sure but I do like looking at him. I wonder if the tattoos are part of some latex skin suit or if they're reapplied every time (and if that's the case, is there a sign up list for the job?
)
I looked him up and it turns out that he's a pretty interesting person. He went to Princeton and a "New Yorker" article says that "...Miller's origins are mixed. His father is black; his mother is white. (To be precise, his father is African-American-Jamaican-German-English; his mother is Russian-Dutch-French-Syrian-Lebanese; and like most people, he has a Jewish great-grandmother, on his father's side.)" So does anyone know how I can set him up with my daughter?

I'm absolutely first in line!!! Ohhh, now this is a real hollywood star crush. My first since Kirk Cameron's Growing Pains days, I think. Thank goodness my tastes have evolved! (PS, since I'm in Iowa does that mean I'm only one state away from some Wentworth love? I wonder how often they film in Illinois?)

Kirk Cameron was adorable. I remember Alan Thicke, during the show's run, saying that young girls were always excited to meet him and that the first thing they'd say is "So, can you introduce me to Kirk Cameron?" Since you're only one state away, maybe you can volunteer your place for their hideout when they breakout. Of course, you'd have lots of strangers coming to visit!

I think I'd put up with any amount of strangers (even strangers in orange jumpsuits) to see those sexy eyes close up. Plus, since he's obviously smarter than me (an English degree from Princeton!) we'd have plenty to not talk about as I did my gazing.
Okay, just trying to work this out of my system! I have to keep reminding myself that he didn't seem nearly so cute on Joan of Arcadia, so my crush must stem from some excellent tricks of lighting.

The strangers I meant were me and everyone else who wanted to have a glimpse!
I never saw him on Joan of Arcadia but I'm definitely planning to order "The Human Stain" from Netflix. I think part of the appeal, though, is his character-for one brother to go to such extraordinary lengths to save the other brother is beyond heroic.

Excuse me you two, but please leave my boyfriend alone. He is mine. I'm not ready to share just yet.I am not at all a fan of Love Hewitt and can not see myself watching her show. My GF plans on taping it to watch but I have no interest. Not even for Wenty (my nickname for MY boyfriend that you two are trying to get at)

OK - I appreciate the Michael lvoe here, but let's discuss the actual show!!I'm very much liking how this is progressing and how characters are being fleshed out. I missed last week by stupidity (first time in Chicago there wasn't a repeat later in the week).
Of course there are always inplausibilities with this type of show (like my fave 24), but you just have to let those things go and enjoy the tension. At least, unlike 24, there's no clock ticking so it's a little easier to suspend disbelief when Michael seemingly gets back to the Warden's office in 15 seconds from the roof. Without a ticking clock I can ratinalize that it actually took longer and that all of that fits with the story.
The ending last night with the Warden actually stepping up and deciding to do the right thing is pretty amazing. It plays against type for a guy like this to actually have real feelings and a conscience, but that's probably closer to reality than most prison movies anyway. The complexity of the character is more appealing (and keeps the storyline moving!).
I'm anxious to see the back story on the killing start to unfold soon beyond the continued attempts at cover up. I suppose, however, that we'll have to wait until the last show or two.
Any sense from anyone how many episodes there will be to complete this story? I don't know if I can take 20 or more episodes.
I suppose an added attraction to me for the show is it's Joliet/Chicago setting. It's always great to see parts of Chicago on the screen.
Finally, are people actually drawn to shows based upon the physical attributes of the characters!??

Before the first episode aired, I read an article (unfortunately, I couldn't find it again) that said that the first year of the show would deal with the breakout and that the second year (providing it's renewed) would deal with what life will be like once they're on the outside. Since I didn't know anything about the show when I read that article, I don't know if this means that the cover-up will be resolved and the brother's innocence established or if the brothers are fugitives on the run. I really like the warden, too. I think that we're going to see more and more examples of his integrity as the bad guys try to force him to act against his will. But lately, I think of lot of films and TV shows have wardens who are caring and one really bad prison guard who has it in for the inmates. What I like best about this show, as I said during the Michael lovefest, is the heroic lengths he's willing to go to, to save his brother. His sacrifice is amazing.

Thanks for the info - that helps. I've been thinking this'd get resolved with exoneration. However, from what you've read it's more likely to be more like The Fugitive the second season and on.

Sittem,
After I posted yesterday, I started thinking about Michael and why he's so appealing. For me, I think it's because he's a larger than life character who's playing the system. If this were a movie made in the 60s, Paul Newman would be playing the part. Paul Newman's physicality contributed to his enduring stardom but his essential goodness and integrity shines. Often a hero of these proportions is a loner but the fact that Michael, who does seem to be a loner, has such a special relationship with his brother makes this show a cut above. I think the show could become The Fugitive next year, except that there is a large cast that seems to be permanent(unless they're all dropped next season) so it may be different than Richard Kimble going to a new town with new people every week. At least I hope so.

RM - great insight on why Michael is so appealing (and I will admit he is VERY attractive which lends to the overall appeal). What you say takes me back to Cool Hand Luke - one of the great movies for my generation. On the second season - I was thinking more along the lines of The Fugitive as it played out in the movie - all within Chicago. The TV show never caught on with me. Anyway, trying to figure out the second season is way premature. I'm sure the producers have thought of an outline, but they probably don't have hard decisions yet about how things will play out in the long run.

Sittem,
We definitely don't have "a failure to communicate". Cool Hand Luke was the movie I was thinking of when I posted. It is such a memorable movie, with some amazing scenes. It's so hard to believe that Paul Newman is 80. I think he's one of the greatest men in film's history, both as an actor and a human being.

Last night's show was such a doozy.I'm still practically on the edge of my seat. I know they won't let anything happen to the Doc, but last night still really pushed the envelope. To even imply a gang-rape situation is terrifying. I just couldn't believe how fast those prisoners went from "harmless" to animals. I guess that's the point, though. As much as the show humanizes Michael, Lincoln, and Sucre, the realities of jail are very real, even if they're only peripheral realities on this show.
I think the show has done a marvelous job at making us (at least the women!) care about Michael (and to a lesser extent, Lincoln), which really amps up the drama and suspense.
Kudos to the show for its humor and fast-pacing, realistic or no.
"RE: I just gotta know"
Posted by RealityMom on 09-27-05 at 07:13 PM
This was definitely a heart-pounding episode. Whoever scored it, did a great job. Those drums in the background really heightened the suspense. Now, I can't wait until next week to learn how Michael and the doctor explain how he was able to get out to save her. It seems as if his whole plan is in jeopardy. I think the governor is going to owe a big one to Michael and that may be a factor. There are certainly a lot of evil people on the show- both in and out of the prison. I worry whenever a young man becomes a new prisoner. I don't think I can ever look at a pocket the same way again. Finally, if Michael can do all that with an egg beater, think of what he could do if the producers gave him a Cuisinart.

Well, not me even at my most pessimistic before the year started.I was going to begin a new thresd on Prison Break since this is starting to get long, but then realized with it off the air for three weeks it'd probably get lost anyway.
It's irritating right now that it'll not come back until the end of October (31st - is that correct - I can't remember right now?).
Seems to me that they probably only ordered six episodes originally and that next week could have been the wrap up if it didn't go anywhere. Now, next week is a repeat of the week before last, the following week is the movie Rush Hour 2. I don't know the week after. At first I thought it was baseball playoffs, but that takes Mondays off - maybe they wanted to keep Mondays open in case there was a rainout and they needed to use it - that's probably more likely.

Got this from TVGuideonline:SENTENCED TO SUMMER: Fox has finally announced when Prison Break will return to the schedule following its fall finale on Nov. 28 — and it blows. The network has reportedly decided to hold the show's nine remaining episodes until (gulp) May! Fox scheduling chief Preston Beckman tells USA Today that "the appeal of creatively bringing it back later in the year outweighs the disruption it would cause" to try to bring it back sooner. I wonder what kind of disruption a few million phone calls of protest would cause over at Fox's Culver City headquarters? You with me, guys? Oh, this just in: A Fox rep insists "no decision has been made" about PB's return date. Do we have power or what?!?!?

"Prison Break Role Frees up Actor"

LAST EDITED ON 11-05-05 AT 01:35 AM (EST)

November 4th
Actor Muse Watson is finally acting behind bars after years of killing people on screen.
The actor, serial killer Ben Willis in the "I Know What You Did Last Summer" slasher flicks, is now the kindly but dark inmate Charles Westmoreland on the big house drama "Prison Break"
"When I first got to Hollywood, there was no way I could play a bad guy," he says. "No one would let me."
Then he got "I Know What You Did Last Summer," and Watson found he was typecast the other way. "They are so much fun to make," he says of horror films, "and the fan base of those kinds of movies are so loyal."
Playing against type in "Prison Break" is allowing the 57-year- old Watson, who is eyeing a possible sitcom opportunity for next season, to stretch his wings again.
He considers his "breakout" role to have been a kindly horse trainer in Julia Roberts's movie, "Something to Talk About." A slew of nice-guy roles followed before getting caught up in horror films.
His stint in "Prison Break," he says, could even things out.
Watson plays a convict who has become the wise confident for inmate Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller), in prison to save the life of his brother. Watson won't say if Westmoreland gets to be part of the prison break or if he'll be part of the show's second season.
For now, he's just enjoying the work.
"As soon as I got on set and started working with Wentworth, we developed a bond," Watson says. "I think Westmoreland looks at Michael much in the way a father looks at a son."
It's been a while since Watson has known his softer side in roles. He perfected his scary act as a 7-year-old growing up in Louisiana.
"I used to be a skinny little clarinet player and just about anybody could whip my butt," he says.
When a young Muse came home one day and told his brother that he was facing bullies at school, brother had some sage advice.
"He said, 'you go back to school and you get a look on your face like you're totally crazy because nobody wants to fight a crazy man,'" Watson recalls. "I went to school the next day and looked at those boys, and they backed off. I've made a career out of that look."
That kind of "crazy look" has served Watson well in his career.
Though he has dozens of film roles to his credits, he is best known in the horror genre. His other films include "From Dust Till Dawn 2" and "Hollywood Vampyr."
An upcoming movie for him is "Blood Red," in which he plays a psychopath who grabs his victims in taxicabs.
Watson describes the deserted Illinois prison where the series is shot as "beautiful" but also notes its bleakness. "You get a sense, after spending some time there, that a lot of the evil inside the walls was evil that happened there in the prison," he says.
"It really is an evil place."

DH & I spent the weekend catching up on Prison Break. We DVR'd every episode, and after hearing so many good things, finally made the time to watch. We had our own PB marathon, finishing the last 2 episodes last night. Love this show. They are doing a nice job of developing the characters, but I have a feeling the next episode will be a really big suspension of reality with the "Problem Solver dude" not killing Veronica or LJ.
How will I wait a whole week?!

Ok, I love this show, and I'm disappointed that FOX is pulling it until May, BUT, I just don't see how they can keep up the pace. I'm suprised to read that they have 9 episodes already done. I'm willing to bet that that final episode has the gang actually breaking out of prison.Personally, I think that once they do break out, the show will tank. They set up only 14 days (or close to that) of actual time, in prison, before brother convict gets the DP. The prison is like another character of the show, and an important character. Once they break out, it's d.o.n.e.
They're milking it now, for all they can get, since they know that once the time runs out, the show is over. They'll take the next several months to try and salvage the story post break-out.

'Prison Break' Employee Found Dead In Drake Hotel Room
Police: White Pills, Powder Found Near BodyPOSTED: 3:51 pm CST November 15, 2005
UPDATED: 4:49 pm CST November 15, 2005
CHICAGO -- Officials say it could take weeks to determine the cause of death of a "Prison Break" TV series employee whose body was found Monday at Chicago's landmark Drake Hotel. Most Popular On NBC5.com
Police officials say Matthew Houbrick, 42, of Calabasas, Calif., was found on the floor of his hotel room with no pulse.
He was pronounced dead last night by Cook County's Medical Examiner.
Police spokesman Pat Camden said officers found him unresponsive and observed white powder and some white pills on a table in the hotel room.
The man died possibly from a drug overdose, according to police News Affairs Officer Amina Greer, but she said she had no details.
Medical examiner's officials say toxicology reports that could determine what killed Houbrick won't be back for several weeks.
A Fox network spokesman says Houbrick worked as an accountant on the Fox TV series "Prison Break."
Houbrick's ex-wife, Nancy Houbrick, said in a telephone interview that her husband had worked as a television producer.
According to the Internet Movie Database, Matthew Houbrick had worked as production accountant for the WB's "7th Heaven" in 1996 and as a production supervisor on "Charmed" in 1998.

Still loving the show and always anxious to watch it. And, I agree with True that I don't see how it'll be substained after the break out. It would just seem like another Fugitive series after that - the prison really is a MAJOR character here.Monday night - one glaring continuity issue (like there aren't thousands with both PB and 24), but this one irriated me because it was so obvious.
In the woods the kid pushes bad guy onto the cover of the well and we see it shatter as he falls through. Later, when White House guys working for VP show up and decide to leave him there they move the cover, miraculously now intact, back over the well and leave bad guy there. I enjoyed the moment, but it was ruined by that continuity issue. I thought they had people who watched for these kinds of things to make sure there weren't huge errors like that.
And, considering how remote this place was, why even cover the top?

He just looks better in the light blue, doncha think? I suppose this continuity stuff is always a problem in a series like this, but I'm not usually distracted about it in this way.
That reminds me again - gotta talk to my co-worker with the inmate son - she was going to ask him about the show and how the cons view it from a "reality" perspective.

I thought last night was a great episode. I'm wondering if it served a dual purpose. 1. to give us insight into how they all ended up where they did and 2. to see what the response from the audience would be, watching the show outside of the prison. Maybe to see if people will continue to watch the people's stories once Michale and Link were out of jail.
Either way, I loved this episode. Loved it.
An awesome Arkie siggie

Interesting - I hadn't thought of that, but I certainly enjoyed the insight into each character's plight, and life outside of prison. If it was a dual purpose objective - they pulled it off in style!

I think that you are right. The purpose of this episode was to set-up the storyline of 'life on the outside'. Inside the moral lines seem much clearer, but seeing their outside lives greys things a little. C-Note and Sucre are good guys who have done some bad things. T-Bag is plain old evil. Dr. Sara is not as marally superior as she might have originally appeared. Even meanie prison gueard guy is an addict.Where was Abruzzio? I was under the impression he was not dead and would be returning.

I thought this was a good move though I was dubious when I saw it was coming last week. However, we'd reached the point of how much longer can you stretch out the breakout or the commutation/clearing of Linc? Since the show was renewed for a second season we had to have somewhere to go besides watching them fail to break out each week. I also appreciated that depth was added to their characters. With them just in prison we didn't get to see much of who they actually were beyond their prison persona. And, T-Bag is evil, but it appeared he was actually trying to make a go of it and start over before he was turned in. At least the family wasn't killed off before he went in. After he breaks out - that'll probably be one story line.

I very much enjoyed seeing Wentworth again, looking very fine, I might add. This did serve the purpose of extending the show, by giving us quite a few more story lines. Not to mention when they do eventually break out of prison, how all these stories are resolved.
It was a nice break from all the Prison only scenes.
They still have quite a few to develop. Abruzzi, and LJ. Plus there is more with the VP & her brother.

That actually caught me off guard. I suppose that when he took the bullet much earlier I really felt he was on her side. Now that it looks like there are two seperate camps of conspiritors - it is much easier to see him working against her.Man - I love this show!

I keep thinking that the secret service dude is going to get pissed off at how he is treated and is going to switch and side with Veronica and Linc out of revenge.

I was thinking the exact same thing! That - and it looks like the VP is about to exert her authority. Either way - I think they are setting us up for a hell of a cliffhanger to end the season. That said - with the many breaks we have faced, it feels like we have been down that road already.

I agree. And they almost lost me after this last 4month break. I practically forgot about the show and then I think I read here that it was starting up again. Whew. Glad I didn't miss it. this has been a good season. Even though technically I guess this is still season one.

Don't even suggest that the prison break isn't going to happen by the end of the season! That would certainly blow. Especially since I won't be seeing the show next season - I don't think it'll be on the Arabic channel! However, Fox does a REALLY good job with episode reviews. I thought I was taping the whole show and checked about 40 minutes through and saw I wasn't! I caught the remainder and then checked Tuesday and ate up the recrap. So, that's how I'll be "watching" next season.Abruzzi is alive! That's awesome. Making friends with T-Bag should be fun. And, do we now have a fugitive situation with Linc? Can't wait to see.

So it appears that Nick Savrinn ("dirty rat") is reporting to Abruzzi. I'm guessing he's doing this somewhat unwillingly and that the mob has some leverage over him. And, it makes me wonder if the Mob and the Company are in bed together on this with one using the other to achieve their purposes.
I also agree with other comments here that "Tweener" is either being used by Michael or Michael got him to tell Bellick knowingly about the former escape plan to throw the guards off. Either way we know there's a level of success in the escape. But, how successful?

Great episode last night! Lot's of interesting twists and turns, some surprising, some not at all. To me, Dad's revelation is a bit of a stretch at such a late stage. And if Michael isn't purposely leaking their plan to the snitch, then turtles actually can fly.Next week - breakout!

I was trying to figure out why Michael told him too. I mean, he's not stupid and he wouldn't make that kind of a mistake this late in the game. I can't figure out what he is doing with that. Obviously it is a set up of some sorts. Great episode last night.
Did I read it here? or was it a commerical? that one major character will be killed and 5 others will also die.

Good question - I don't know his intentions but as he clearly realized the doctor was onto him - he has obviously devised another plan. In the preview it seemed like everyone knows about the plan.I didn't hear of anyone dying - I wonder if the Fox website has any info on it?

Looked to me in the previews that the DH Cooper character is not going to make it. Hopefully he gives Michael his PIN number before he bites it.There was some major hotness going on between Sara and Michael. Yummy. If only Wenty didn't make my gaydar spin!

Really? Usually my gaydar is pretty spot on and the thought has never crossed my mind with him. Hmmm.
But yes, major hotness between them. By the time they get to be together, that sex is going to be unbelievable. Can't wait.

I thought that they were breaking out tonite??? Don't get me wrong - another great episode, but caught me off guard considering the previews. Now that I know that there are two more eps before this season ends, perhaps next week they don't get out either?Great finish though with the shank on the Pope!

The preview that I saw said "The breakout begins", so I knew they didn't break out tonight. But grrrrr, I have to wait two more episodes?
I still feel that it was out of character for Michael to tell rat boy what was going on. I just can't believe that he would risk all of this by telling him. I'm guessing that he will be the pawn somehow.
Another great episode. I had trouble relaxing because I was on the edge of my seat the whole time.

I am perplexed with the whole rat boy incident. I thought he would be some key figure this week and we would figure out what the set up was - I guess we'll just have to wait and see....sigh.

Posted by brvnkrz on 05-02-06 at 09:51 AM
I agree. I just can't believe that Michael would be so sloppy. that's why I am guessing that he is being used as a decoy or something. I noticed that he didn't do anything to try and hide his scent. So maybe Michael is setting him up to be the one with a scent so that the dogs will smell him. And Michael will send him off in a different direction than the pack?

mmmmmmm....very, very good theories - I hadn't really noticed that Michael was not attempting to cover his scent but your theory reminded me that he made no attempt - unlike all the others.I am a bit puzzled by Michael asking Sara to leave the door unlocked and then sabotaging the model to assure he would have some alone time with the warden. Did he do this because he felt Sara would not support his request? Or - did he think he needed the warden to get Link out of solitary confinement?
Lot's of unanswered questions for me...probably the reason I am enjoying this so much!

I just can't believe that he would risk all of this by telling him.I was so mad at Michael last night. I kept screaming at the tv "What are you doing?! Don't tell him the new plan! Are you stupid?" I'm sure he has some plan for the kid, but he sure is making me nervous!

Ack! I was so freaking nervous last night. Then they kept breaking away to show those lawyers. I said, "I hope they don't think I'll still care about these people when they break Linc out." Then the lawyer dude got killed. DH said, "I guess you don't have to worry about caring about him anymore."I love this show.

I was pissed that we still don't know if they make it or not (I mean, obviously they do because they can't just have the whole second season being them running around the area. lol. but I want to see it!) but I liked the episode very much.
Sarah might have OD'd? Wow. That took me by surprise. She sure looked dead to me. All blue and pale and covered in spit up.
And when mobster guy (his name is totally escaping me right now) cut off T-bag's hand?! Wow. Great stuff.

While I definitely enjoyed the finale, I kept looking at the clock wondering how they were going to tie up so many loose ends. The answer it appears, was that they were not going to tie up any loose ends - I was hoping for closure on at least one of the many story lines. So, like you - while I enjoyed all the drama, not certain if it left me sated enough.
"RE: I agree"
Posted by sittem on 05-16-06 at 02:41 PM
Sated? I don't think so. Of course, they kept many story lines open to explore next season. And, several months to figure out how some of them will escape. As for me? I wish I could come back and watch it. Alas, my ability to see it will be pretty much non-existent. It was fun while it lasted though.

Sated? I don't think so. Incorrect use of past tense here? My bad if that is the case. No surprise though - I just realized, over 18 hours after the fact, that the VP engineered the president's death. Up until now, I thought that they were both targeted and she got lucky dropping her water bottle. After remembering the smug way she told the agent that she could, in fact, get things done - it just clicked into place.
