My DH works for TW cable NYC and HBO gave everyone a promo DVD with the Season 2 trailer. We were totally hooked and rented Season 1 on DVD. Now halfway through Season 2 we look forward to every single episode.

Does anyone else watch this? Or are we alone in the slighty freaky Carnivale universe?

Me too! Love this show. Just another one of those shows where you can't tell who is going where and who is bad or good. Plus it is creepy and gross!

This has to be the best show NOT talked about!

OOH! That was so good. Is it just me or does it seem like episodes just fly by? I'm constantly "Wha'? It's over?"

Why oh why don't more people watch this?

Skye, this week's episode was only 45 min. They have been running a full hour so I don't know why this one was shorter.

There probably aren't as many people watching this because it is on HBO and a lot of people don't subscribe.

i've never watched it before but one of my students in my "clowns and tricksters" class recommended it. just added season 1 to my netflix queue.

I've been pretty active in the Carnivale online community since the show started. Just last week there was a Carny Convention online, sorry I didn't see this thread sooner (i started a thread last year, probably many pages down by now). I'll check and see if they've posted the interviews and live chats yet.

Glad to see some love here.
Any questions I can help y'all with? (probably not a whole lot of answers, but still...)

I loved the finale! However I would be very unsatisfied if that was the end of the show!

This is one of the creepiest shows on TV!

Loved the meeting of Samson, He/she person and other carnies at Brother Justin's house!

I heard that as well! Too bad, but good news is that Six Feet Under will be starting up again...and there's a new comedy with Lisa Kudrow called The Comeback. Don't know much about it yet.
