A co-worker of mine went to a screening of Ladder 49 last week, and said it was really good. She said it was very touching, without being too sugary sweet. And apparently, the action sequences are fantastic! Actors like Joaquin Phoenix running into burning bulidings and doing their thing... sounds good to me. I have been looking forward to this one.
Will anyone else be going?

I am very excited to see it. They filmed it here in Baltimore this past winter.

I saw it yesterday. Very good; it really makes you appreciate firefighters. I know I could never be brave enough to do that job. Well done film.

I saw it last week. It wasn't what we expected. We were hoping to see hunky firemen in sweaty t-shirts :-D

I enjoyed watching it because it was in MD and made me think of Augie *waves* to Augie
