Caught the HBO shows early so I could catch these, and both were excellent:

1. Masterpiece Theatre - Prime Suspect 6. Helen Mirren is back as Jane Tennyson. One of the best television public dicks ever, and she doesn't even have one.

2. State of Play on BBC. Many familiar faces, tricky plot, good series so far.

Anyone else see either?

Damn, I'm mad I missed Prime Suspect. Helen Mirren is one of my favorites. Hopefully it'll be re-aired so I can get my Helen fix. Now there's a woman who's grown "old" gracefully. A fabulous actress, hot stuff, and very classy.

I think the littler PBS stations will air midweek. Lord knows the BBC will give us AMPLE opportunity to re-watch any State of Play episodes. When they get a hit, they ride the show til it drops.
