Hello Members!
I am a doctoral student at Texas Tech University that is obsessed with all things pop culture and reality television. I am completing my dissertation on reality television tourism (or rather the likelihood of people visiting destinations they've seen on reality television shows). Part of my research is a brief (7 minutes or less) survey about your attitudes towards reality television and the likelihood that you would visit a location you've seen on a show. I've been to NYC after watching CSI:NY if it counts, but that is never the only reason to visit the Big Apple. I worked a bit for the making of http://new-york.hotelscheap.org/ and that's what really pushed me to make the decision to visit New York. Sadly, it is one not very cheap city, but I was able to get a great deal and to save more than enough money in order to spend 10 great days there.
