Both lists it's a toss up for me between Phil Phillips and Colton Dixon as to who should and who will win. I think it could go either way. If a girl is going to win, i know the show wants Jessica Sanchez but I think the last girl standing and only one that could win is Skylar Laine. Joshua Ledet is my prediction for the early save this year. I think it's him or Jessica Sanchez.

12. Jermaine Jones: Like his personality, but he's no match for this competition.
11. Hollie Cavanagh: Not that great.
10. Heejun Han: See #12. I like how he gives the finger to the AI establishment, but he won't (and shouldn't) last long.

I'm totally with you, mrc...Elise Testone is by far the best singer of this season. I would love to see her win, but sadly the best rarely do. But nonetheless, she is definitely on her way to stardom now, AI crown or not.

One of this season's episode reviewers has posted what amounts to a Will Go list with justifications for how he sees the order. I'm posting his projected eliminations and a link to his non-PG13 reasoning because the way he's broken this down lightly intrigues me. Is the show that desperate for a female winner and, being that it's FOX in an election year, hoping to make it a specific type? We'll find out...From Insane at VFTW:

I feel so behind...watched some this week but don't know who got the most screen time before that.
One thing I noticed was there were fewer clunkers than in years' past. So, kudos to AI for bringing in people who could really sing.
Another thing I noticed was that some people were set up to be cannon fodder in the top 24; I am guessing the same holds true for the top 13. There are a couple of people in the top 13 that I just don't get why they are there over others...unless they are to be the early boots.
