Gee, I guess Crystal's most hardcore fans are a lot more laid back than we thought... Keep all the ultra-hysterical reactions you see for or against last night's results on this thread, which may or may not include detailed voiceprint analysis of the 0.0002 seconds Lee spent on key. After all, it's just not an Idol finale unless someone's screaming about mysterious busy signals, altered computer programs, and possibly the Illuminati. And by the way, that last one is completely ridiculous. Everyone knows the Illuminati have nothing to do with American Idol.

FOX is controlled by the Gnomes of Zurich.

Sure, let's say 'laid back'.

For me it was more of the same from AI.

At least we know that Crystal will get a contract and some $$ for it being second runner up. It's a ?? for me if AI bothers to invest in it and promote it.

Both Crystal and Lee have pre-idol material that can be used on their albums. This should speed things up.

I did all my ranting when Siobhan left. I'm all ranted out.

I'm perfectly OK with the result. Besides, I predicted it. I wasn't shocked at all.

Hi Everyone - been a while, but had to come shrug at the TRAVESTY of the Dewyze win. (Lifting right shoulder slightly in INDIGNATION.) Eh - honestly the season was so dull that by the time the finale rolled around and I had seen the Dial Idol results, I was prepared.

I will take a listen to Crystal's cd when it comes out, but no guarantees I'll buy it. Lee's lackluster off key performances will lead to a deadly dull career, and I will be able to see him in increasingly smaller venues - except I won't bother.

Simon knows a sinking ship when he sees one.

Everyone is entitled to my opinion.
