This is why I've been afraid of Andrew's voter base since public access opened. I think he has a lot more people out there than we think: votes coming from places that the various agencies don't and can't track. If you look at the reported numbers, you'd think there'd be no way he could have pushed Katie down -- but votes we're not counting remain votes.

It's for a new Disney ocean-themed movie. I've never understood the draw of The Jonas Brothers. When Demi Lovato performed on DWTS she was pretty bad and showed how much her music is mixed to cover up her poor singing.

Now I read that he is looking to go the country route. Wonder if country music rues the day AI started knocking at their door. So many lining up on the "country lane". On the other hand, you can't help but admire Carrie's success.

And don't forget that Simon is trying to push Katie towards country too!

I have to say, I think she's a nice gal and I think she'll go places. She's got a sincere heart and quite a bit of talent. Time will tell, I wish her well.

I like the change to where they get to pick one of their songs rather than the one that got them booted.

And the way she sang it, it kinda makes you think it's "all right now" with her. Nice sign-off.

For what it's worth, I respect Simon for telling Paige outright that she wasn't getting the save. False hope is a horrible thing to have.

I'm glad he put and end to the suffering rather than drag it out.

--still wondering if something else is going on with her...family problems or something, especially with the judges' comment last night about not even trying to be in the competition. Almost like she purposely chose a song she'd suck at so she wouldn't go through---listen how big her voice is on "Alright Now"...something isn't adding up.

Also the judges not conferring...maybe she asked to not go on the tour?

Yeah, it's like she voluntarily agreed to leave the comp, for whatever reasons she's got. No prob by me. I happen to like her, just for her character and honesty, even if she isn't a true contender.

No surprise there.

And it's the right choice.

If I was on the thread Wednesday night I would've said that I would be surprised if they did give her any chance at the Save. Mainly because if they used it, then how would they determine next week in the double elimination which one wouldn't get on tour vs the one getting on tour? Would they then have gone on tour with the Top 11? Highly doubt it.
