I would tend to agree here however this will give the Idols a chance to sing something more contemporary, especially the young 'uns.I find the catalogues they have access to are very old school, very 60's and 70's for the most part.
Thanks Cap'n

I think teen idol sounds very broad--from Elvis and Sinatra to Beatles to Bieber. But I haven't seen the itunes list yet.

Just as long as it's not Shaun Cassidy!A Monkees tune might be fun to try out, though.

LOL! What about a David Cassidy hit? Tim Urban singing "I Think I Love You" . I like Tim but I think the show may turn him into a Sanjaya-esque character for the season.

Now... Here are some teen idols I'd like to hear, from the Teenage Awards Music International show! This DVD just jumped up to the top spot on my must-get-next list.

As long as the Itunes list doesn't include songs from the following movie/tv series, you should be relatively fine: Camp Rock, Glee, High School Musical, and any Disney Channel series that went to at least one movie............. as well as the Hannah Montana and Jonas Brothers' song lists.......

Gah! don't give them any ideas.

Seems the website spoiler that the theme really is Billboard #1's instead of Teen Idols actually turned out to be true rather than just another case where an intern is quietly buried in the crawl space with all the others sent to other employment.http://mjsbigblog.com/more-clues-to-this-weeks-theme.htm
Now why did the send out a press release with such an awful thing? Were they just messing with us, or was the mystery mentor suddenly available or the teen idol mentor not?

I suppose that this is my fault, isn't it?

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/35991765/ns/entertainment-gossip/“This appearance is about showing Miley the young adult, not Miley the tween star,” said one person connected to the Cyrus camp.
Because at 17 you know you aren't in anyway a teen idol anymore so you can't be associated with a theme like that.
Excuse me while I go retrieve my eyes from where ever it is they rolled off too. Thank goodness I know how to touch type.
