...another week of putting up with Moist von Lipsynch. As much as AI loves to dump Asian contestants, this couldn't have been the result they wanted. Every week Todrick stays in is more time for the scam story to spread, plus an increased chance of their taking backlash for allowing him to remain in competition. They have to get rid of him pre-tour -- but they don't have as much control over the votes as they'd like, and they can't disqualify him unless he breaks a law now.In theory.

I'm not complaining about this one -- Jermaine wore out his musical welcome and after two weeks of bad performances, Andrew deserved to sweat a little. Which he probably did at quarter-pace while getting pimped on every other drop.

Thought he did a flawless, amazing job, and it made me forget about the pimpage, and pushing and oooh'ing and aaaaw'ing from last year that had me on the verge of puking as often as he changed his glasses.He's always, IMHO, had a great voice. TPTB were mostly responsible for making him unlikable with the 'dead wife' story. Even though it WAS true, one can only take so much of the guilt and grief that compels you to pick up a phone.
As the song said, he's looking upward and onward, and I wish him the BEST!! Thought the song was great, the vocals were spot on, and I, for one, am a FAN!! Go, Gokey!!
I agree with everything you said except for that last part.
Hey, this is the guy who sang Rascal Flatts last year...so this should satisfy the Gokey fans. Catchy song for country. And it didn't have any notes that were impossible for him ala scream-on. I think he'll do fine with this.

That's pretty much what I said. I was like, "it looks like he lost weight. Oh my he is talking so fast." In my mind, adding those two things together = "lines".
I found something really "off" about him lastnight when he hit Ryan in the shoulder and said something like "check this out! I lost my wife and so did he." He was almost giddy about it.
