According to Life & Style and reported in this forum, Roberto Martinez, season 6 Bachelorette winner has been signed to be the next Bachelor. Now don't get me wrong, he is a likaeable guy but he had his chance, don't you agree? It would be one thing if the engagement fizzled 3 months after The Finale aired but he and Ali were engaged for 18 months.
So is ABC saying there isn't a possibility in this season's crop
of men Emily doesn't choose? More importantly, there's been an incredible success rate for marriages with alumni finding love with other alumni. So why doesn't Roberto dive into that pool? Or has he and been rejected by them all??

Wasn't that the premise of Bachelor Pad?
Holly & Blake are an example of the success of Bachelor Pad bringing alumni together and their falling in love. Kasey & Vienna are an example of Bachelor Pad's ability to reveal the people's flaws and splitting up couples who don't truly belong together. So I say let Roberto take a crack at being on Bachelor Pad vs The Bachelor.
If Roberto is the next Bachelor, I might well apply! He's my type -- tall, dark and handsome! (hearts appear in Belle's eyes.)
There are now reports, including one on the news section of this site, that the Roberto-as-Bachelor story is BS. I think he's wasting his time if he signs on, because there ain't no way in hell a guy like Roberto can find love in such a rushed process. If Roberto takes the job, he will have another failed relationship, and you can take that to the bank.
I heard that one too. That's why I said if Roberto is the next Bachelor!
