I saw them on Ellen today. They seemed happy. They talked about being together when they saw the fantasy suite episode. Shayne got upset when Chelsea dropped her knickers so she kicked Matt out of the suite. He said he was locked out on the patio till noon the next day. They decided they had to find a way to deal with him on the show kissing the other women. So Shayne named Matt's alter ego Bob. And it was Bob that was on TV kissing the women, not Matt. Matt said he didn't see the problem but it must be the European/American thing. Ellen said that Shayne should understand since she is an actor and they do kissing scenes. But Shayne said that is acting and this was real life. Ellen asked them where they wanted to live. Matt said he loves LA and Shayne loves London. Shayne said she wanted to have 2 kids and raise one in LA and one in London. They were asked if they would have their wedding on TV. Matt didn't seem to want to do anymore reality TV. But when pushed he said they could have their kids on TV. And then he would probably die before Shayne so they could have his funeral on TV and show Shayne waving goodbye to him.

Did you all notice her mother?? If thats what Shayne is going to look like in 20 years I would run....I think Matt is star struck and will want to go back to London, Shayne wont go, its a very different culture, shes too young. There also arent a lot of acting opportunites for an American there..Americans would rather have a Brit than vice versa. I know, my sister lives there.

Shayne's mother was awful. I almost threw up watching her. How much work has she had done on herself?

Shayne's mother looked like she spent too much time laying out in the sun. Shayne sprays her tan on and wears hats. I think that will make a big difference in how Shayne looks when she's older.

This is the first time that I have watched the final show over and over again. I believe they are truly in love and the marriage will take place. When I saw them together on the show week after week, it was clear to me that she was the one for him. She was truly "real" and there for the right reasons. I believe in a fairytale ending, even though that fairytale has been elusive for me. The mean-ness some write in these blogs never ceases to amaze me. Those that want to be nasty remind me of Robin....who the heck did she think she was. As for Chelsea, she was the most "falsest". Don't you think it odd that she waited until the last minute to open up on the show. Who is she kidding? You go Matt and Shayne. Best wishes for your long future together. So be it if you both end up on show business....just remember to keep it "real". Betsy

I doubt if Shayne and Matt will even last a year. She accepted the ring because it looks good on tv and will draw attention to her wanting to become an actress. She was such a fake and he was too blind to see it. He is just in love with the idea of being with an actress. I thought he had more sense than that and could see through it, but apparently he can't.

Oh yes, Girls Gone Wild, is a real good way to start an engagement. Glamour, money, and glitz is all she wants. She is too immature to even begin a real relationship and it showed all over the tv show.

If I had to make bets on it, I would say it won't last just like most of the couples that get engaged from the show. At least the last bachelor had the honesty to admit he wasn't in love and not choose someone he wasn't really in love with.

Girls Gone Wild? What did she do? Doesnt surprise me..

I don't think he is too blind to see it but I think that is exactly what he wants. Do you think he went on National TV to find a wife and go back to obscurity? I'm sure he has aspirations for more(modeling, acting, etc).

It is kind of telling when he's having lunch at Barneys and prefers LA over London.

When I read that he wanted to stay in LA, it became pretty clear that he wanted to do more than just 'find a wife'... Shayne's just the ticket to help him open those doors for him.

But did it start out that way for him, in the beginning? Who knows.. But the agenda now is to get publicity, to get more signings, contracts, etc. I'm sure they will get married, but only for the endorsements and publicity. I doubt it will last.

Is it just me, or is anyone else sitting here wondering if Matt's parents or even Matt for that matter, would have ever really approved of, or thought highly of their new Daughter-in-law-to-be participating in anything 'Girls Gone Wild'????

While of course its her choice, and 'to each their own', I cant
imagine what those poor people, Matt's parents, are thinking.

At first I thought Shayne was only in it to get more attention to help her career, and I thought she lacked any substinence or brains. Then, when Matt chose her, I thought, well maybe, just maybe the network didnt show us a side of Shayne that really portrayed her very well. Afterall, we only see so much of what really is said and happens. When Matt chose Shayne, I thought, wow, maybe they both really found true love and I had hoped it worked out for them.

But then when I see that, so quickly after the show ends might I add, that she is already posing for a nudie magazine (and a really trashy magazine at that) I realize I should have listened to my first gut instinct. This girl was in it for the fame and chance to further her career, and nothing more.

So, do I think it will last? No, I dont. Marriages built on false pretenses never last. I also noted in an interview with Matt, which has previously been posted on RWTV, some things that he said which led me to believe he was not real serious about getting married or maybe it was that he was not looking to get married very soon. Sure, they should get to know each other, but I dont see them lasting for very long even if they did get married.

Hoping Deanna has a great time, and finds someone she can really connect with and that will treat her like the princess she really is.

I was just reading the article on Matt talking about how Shayne's photo spread with Girls Gone Wild was blown out of proportion. He said that he and Shayne are living in her Studio City Condo.

Can you imagine Matt living in her Condo with her? I bet everything is either pink, or leopard print. LOL... Can you imagine the first time she has a temper tantrum because she cant find her pair of red sandals with the bunny fur and 5" cork heels?? Seriously... I dont see Matt putting up with her tyrades. (But then again, he did put up with one at the casino and still chose her. Hmm... Maybe he likes it??)

Anyway, I knew that there was something I read that made me think he wasnt that serious about getting married, or it lasting too long. Here it is..

That statement struck me as odd for some reason. It certainly didnt give me warm fuzzies about their future, or his intentions for her either.

I get the feeling that neither one of them want a permanent relationship that they both just want to have a good time for however long it lasts. Having fun is a good thing as long as that is what they both want.

If they are still together, I will be shocked and this is early June! He is very bright, a very successful financier and she is a Barbie Doll CHILD! It won't work!
