This is the first episode of the current French Version of Survivor. It starts a little like Survivor Palau with 2 immunity necklaces in play (one good for 1 TC the other good up to the merger!) but it has an old time feel mostly due to the player presentations in their regular life. The Heroes are 5 returning legends who never won., They will have to compete against each other first because only 4 will reenter the game.

It's so nice to see the difference in editing that is provided by 2 hour episodes. I wish that the American Survivor had this format.

Each team nominates 2 ambassadors to represent the other tribe. The four ambassadors then have to agree on ONE person to eliminate. If they cannot agree then two of the ambassadors, designated by a random draw, will have to compete in a challenge. The loser of that challenge would then eliminated.

Here, the two from the Yellow tribe and the outsider of the Red tribe ganged up on the other red tribe member, forcing him to eliminate one of his allies. They then joined the others in camp and had to tell the chosen one that she had to pack her bag. Awkward!!

I've continued watching and I must say that I've visited more of Fiji in the 11 episodes I've watched than I did in all the season of American Survivor since they've returned to the Islands. Also, the challenges are much more interesting.

Lol I didn't know they had a French version. I guess every country has their own. People better enjoy any version now that has taped before the pandemic. You're not going to see any new seasons of any reality show like Survivor for a long time if at all. Too be honest that's ok with me cuz Survivor and Amazing Race etc. have all jumped the shark. I enjoy re-watching older seasons then this new crap they have now.
