Best slide ever
Welcome aboard. Yeah, that was something. Great visuals.In all honesty, though, other than creating the opportunity to air wet sandy bods, add a potential injury causing element to the challenge, I don't know what challenge purpose the slides actually served.
When you watch the insider clips you'll see the players really enjoyed the challenge. One of the reason they have those challenges is to keep the players interested. Remember some early seasons when players were so bored we'd see them lying down in camp all day. Flying kites isn't as interesting for viewers and players.As for slides, I remember laughing watching Crystal fail during her slide down a river bank.
I think the boys in the editing room were getting bored.We had more blurs over women's crotches in this one challenge than we had for the entire season up to this point.
I'd like to know how much time Alicia spent digging sand out of the massive wedgie she got upon hitting the ground off the slide. Foreshadowing was there from her comment about wedgies before the challenge started!
