I'm on alert with Amazon for new Survivor DVD series, and two new notices just came within the last 2 days, after such a long hiatus with no new DVDs. Apparently Season 3 Africa is now available to preorder, and Season 4 Marquesas is coming along soon after. Yay!! I hope they will do all 20 seasons. Then I can finally throw away my VHS tapes, recorded season by season at considerable inconvenience and not very good quality.

I'm just glad it's not The RussHell Platinum Editions. (All episodes come with commentary. No episodes come with a 'Commentary Off' option.)

I doubt those DVDs will come with commentaries. For sure, they won't be available in stores because they are made-to-order and there's something about them not playing on DVD machines that can record or on PCs.
