"Adjectives:Mid-season"

Posted by Chillicrab on 03-22-01 at 12:12 PM
Since today's episode is just a mid-season-recap ---> what's there to say?

For the bored-this-week, have a go at this:
The game is called adjectives. 16 contestants, 16 sets of adjectives. 3 tribes, 3 adjectives.
Do we see what others see?

Contestants:
Deb=overbearing(definitely)
Kel=sapient(probably)
Mad-Dog=sprightly
Mitchell=whimpy
Kimmi=halfbaked and crusty(get this?)
Mike=overzealous hunter
Jeff=sardonic and cute
Alicia=powerful
Nick=Iguana(on account of his log-lying preoccupation)
Jerri="Aspiring Actress"(Need I say more)
Rodger=Respectable
Colby=Machiavelian
Liz=endearing
Amber=dull and spineless
Tina=disloyal(voting for Mad-dog and probably will not think twice about betraying Keith if it benefits her)
Keith=forthright

Tribes:
Ogakor-lazy fellows
Kucha-happy buddies
Barramundi-BORING

Got a feeling that at the end of S2, we would think quite differently.

Okay, explain this one more time please. For each castaway and each tribe, we have to describe them using one word or phrase? Are there any restrictions on the adjectives we can use?

Survivorerist

Final Four: Amber Brkich, Colby Donaldson, Elisabeth Filarski, Jerri Manthey

Yes, preferrably not too long a phrase, for the ease of people with short attention span like myself. Anything goes.

I agree wholeheartedly! I was watching an ad on TV the other day for the Burnett eco-challenge and was trying to think of which Survivors could survive an ordeal like that. The only ones that came to mind (from both episodes) were Gretchen (S1), Joel (S1), Michael (S2), and Kel (S2).

I think he would do great on that show. He said he was playing the game for the challenge more than anything. I think Greg might be able to pull it off too.

>Michael- The one most likely to survive if he was really stranded on an island.

Granted he probably would provided he does not get narcolepy in front of the fire again. After watching the entire first half of S2 again, I find that Mike is rather reckless at times. The editing of that episode pointed that out quite clearly, although there were traces of it shown in the previous episodes.

You hit the nail on the head on this.
But, do not you feel sore that the million dollars will go to one of the whinning Ogakors instead of the proactive, ingenious, inventive and definitely more lovable Kuchas.
The Oga just sit down play board games, b#t^h about people, tell lies to each other, and complain that they do not have much food. In that D**#t** and M*****#* D** sponsored reward challenge, Jerri said that she hoped Kucha will throw that game as they have so much food, and that "they don't deserve it". B#** S#^*.
Even after the merge, who caught the fish, who cook the rice.

The game ain't right. Of course the real world ain't fair, or I look like Claudia Schiffer.

I noticed this the last episode, they were all just sitting around letting everyone else do the work, with the excepton of Keith. I don't know how Elisabeth restrained herself from just dumping that bowl of rice over Jerri's head. Usually I have always rooted for the underdogs but I just liked Kucha so much better, and it seems like they were done in by a couple of bad twists of fate. I guess that is all part of the game but no, it doesn't seem right.
