"Ending?"
Posted by Kokoro on 03-02-01 at 00:12 AM
Well, I'm hearing from a lot of people that this episode wasn't as exciting because of the lack of a Tribal Council. IMHO, the ending that they gave is more powerful than any old TC they could have had. That prayer was so incredibly sad and inspiring and it's good to see that the Kucha's have become even more unified (like a family ;) although, that Immunity Challenge looked pretty interesting (I know, same one as last year but it was cool last year and it still would have been).Rodger:"We ask this through your Son."
All: "Amen."
*fade out; cue the sad music*

I have only one thing to say about the whole prayer thing....
If they can't pray in public schools then they should not be able to pray on Survivor II, and I don't give a Rat's A$$ what George W. has to say about it. (or the Zero-brain for that matter)"lovable asshole-type"

>Leif Eriksen Seeing as CBS is not a part of our Goverment there is no conflicting issue of Seperation of Church and State. Praying in school has nothing to do with people who are not Goverment employees praying on tv. I'm not a Christian you need to get over this....Rat's ass prayer thing.

Forget I said anything. And by the way, Teat-on, I don't give a rats-ass if your a christian or not, OK? And, by the way, the only thing I want to get over right now is, you!
They come out of the cracks, don't they?

oh boo hoo Lief, they prayed...sounds like you're a bit of a nazi there, buddy, you don't want anyone to have any religious freedoms. See, a bunch of athiests tried to do that about 25 years ago and they failed because their argument was more full of holes than swiss cheese.

So we flushed the zealot out, did we? Do you think you had me fooled, Zero-brain? Morons like you can't hide behind another name, you always write the same way. It is a pattern that you can't shake. The Nazi's, like you, believed in religious freedom; only for the religions they accepted. In fact they may have been alot like you. You friggin hippocrite.
A bunch of athiests????? What would that be, a congregation?
Swiss cheese, a good analogy of your mind, Zero.
And one more thing, you moron, do you have to irritate everyone with copying the whole bloody message to your message. Learn to cut and paste.

Zero-baby....you're back!
I hope you're having your "second coming" to tell me what the immunity challenge was going to be. Kokoro mentioned it, but nobodies telling me!Enquiring minds must know!

I don't have the slightest clue what the IC was going to be, we'll probably never know. They cleverly listed a "trial by fire" but we all know what that was now.
And on to Lief. I'm not the mysterious kokoro, and I pasted the other message just for you

>What was the immunity challenge going<
>to be?<The teams were going to go out in the wilderness for two hours, the team that brought back the most monkey heads was the winner of immunity. It was a set up for Murderer Mike to win.
This came from a very reliable source.

Monkeyshines, please, in the future, warn us old folks about the nature of your message so we can put on the Depends so we don't soil our clothes. I did it again with that one.Are there sharks around your island that you could feed Tamia2001 to?
Why? Because I don't want her, and there are no sharks that will eat vegetarians around the Gulf Islands that I could feed her to.

Just one thing, gorilla, is there anyway you and your kitten could find a nice mall with a glass cage that you could settle down in and shut the fuaq up?
Just asking, that's all.

It was revealed that there was a TC, albeit a symbolic and non-functional one. That being the case, it would have been useless to show it as the suspense factor would have been nonexistent. Given the circumstances, it should not come as a surprise that the episode progressed this way.

>It was revealed that there was

and voted for Mike?
There's something wrong with this theory!
Where did you hear this?
"RE: Ending?"
Posted by Leif Eriksen on 03-05-01 at 04:16 PM
Kucha had a symbolic flame dousing which was filmed but they would not show on TV, they thought a little prayer might be better for the viewing audience. It was not a Tribal Council per se but a huggy, kissy get together of the Kucha cuties.Idiots!

Well. Opening myself up here.... I've had a strong need for emotional catharsis since going out to the movies hasn't really done it. I saw "Hannibal," "Requiem for a Dream," and "Pollock" all in the same week. I needed the prayer. (But I don't want another one if anyone at the network is reading this. Once was plenty. And fine.)
