"S11 PTB Week 3 Results/Week 4 Entry"

Come on in guys! It is Week 4 and so much is changing, wow. I have a new job and will be moving half way across the country. Yes folks I'm going to the big D and I do mean Dallas. What a change for this Northern gal. It also means that at times I will be late to post my results, just bear with me. I will always extend the Early Bird Deadline whenever I do post late. Early Bird Deadline is Tuesday at 8pm EST.

I also had to finally get my torch snuffer out and say goodbye to many great players including but not limited to the current PTB leader Smokedog and the reigning RED INK champion Emydi. I will miss you both and will miss all of our fallen comrades. But, not to fear, you can always move on to a bigger and better game (just save me a rum punch OK?) LOSER LODGE.

Byoffer had the high score this week with 20 pts and got the solo 5 bonus pts as well. Aggressionx catapulted past last years champ DB on his way to the top overall honors recently vacated by the snuffed Smokedog. On the RED INK side, Whoami totally obliterated all others and took advantage of his immunity with a really negative score of -51. He also earned the -5 bonus for lowest score.

The Lottery for those who chose to participate was practically a gimme. To earn 6 picks all you had to do was decide which of the 150 survivors were one of my top 5 favorites, and then pick any one of those numbers. I awarded 6 picks to anybody who guessed 1 (Richard Hatch), 51 (Kathy Obrien), 65 (Brian Heidik), 83 (Rob Cesternino), or 113 (Chris Daugherty)

Yaxha- Cuon, Das Mole, Libra Rising, John Mc, and MJewel won the tribe reward challenge by a score of 6-4. Each member gets 5 picks added to their alotment. Yaxha also won immunity for this week by a score of 4-2. Both races have been very close! Last week immunity proved to be very critical as EVERY member of Nakum would have been booted if it wasn't for the safety net.

Damn -- these senior moments must be getting to me -- I didn't realize that I had been Philiminated torch-snuffed already. That red ink bonus I missed sure did hurt.

How about this then, why don't you pick a fallen comrade currently playing PQM game and tell me whether they are going to be high or lowest of all the other fallen comrades?

I don't want you to have to miss out on the lottery just cause you host LL. I also don't think it gives you any advantage as a host, but if you feel it would be uncomfortable you could always PM me your pick. It is your call. (Just do whatever you decide before the early bird deadline so that you would still get those points.)

See, I am bitter about Paschal not being a points pick. I think I am really going to need the extra picks to stay in PTB. I already have double occupancy in LL, don't need triple, and would like to stay in at least one game for a while this season!

Aye, Katy me gorl, Congrats on the new job. Don't let on that you have a second job on these boards. Dallas/FW is a nice place. Is this is your first experience in Texas? If so, well, I've lived there and enjoyed it, but you should be prepared for a lot of Texans. Texans are great, about my favorite people (and I have roots there), but you should be prepared.

This is unnecessary advice if you are acquainted with Texas, but if not, there are a lot of very nice places to visit, some very nice coastal places (I like the Corpus Christi area beaches), the Hill Country, esp around Canyon Lake, Big Bend, the border towns. Relatively close (although in Texas, relative is a relative term) to places in NM, Col, La. and Ok. Many more, too numerous to list, but you do have a computer and know how to use it.

AS to this game, I suspect that there won't be many left in the final weeks. The carnage this week should continue. One needs lots of immunities and lots of picks to survive.

Catagories = high score or low score, you decide whether to enter one for 1 pick, or both for 2 picks, but then also it must be specified which fallen comrade will be with which category.

And for clarification in case anyone else is wondering, the fallen comrade does not have to have the highest overall score, but must be the highest of all the fallen comrades that are in the game for this week. (Or lowest if you pick low.) In case of a tie for highest or lowest, then anyone who said either of the people tied would win the picks.

There could be lots of winners here.

If you're from the north will you miss the snow?

Yes and no. The good news is that since I still have all of my family in VT I will be flying back for frequent visits. But overall the snow and cold does wear on a person and I am very much looking forward to a new place and a new start.

I have had a hard time getting on line from home, just to much static and a poor ISP. I was finaly able to get online at work today. Sorry about not being able to get in on the immunity game.
