I'm in a small group of friends that have been watching Survivor from the start. Each season we pick from the cast and have some awards for the winner, losser and on and on. It's not a BIG deal, but it's fun to do. A couple of seasons ago, a freind of a friend told someone at CBS, and CBS contacted us (the group) about filming us watching the show and eating and stuff for a promo show. They brought in S-3 Survivor Kelly Goldsmith to hang out with us and ask us questions during the breaks. It was a lot of fun to do and to meet Kelly - a really nice person!

We got the call again a few weeks ago and CBS wanted to do the same deal, only with Hunter this time. So we gathered last Thursday for the Alicia boot. He came in and kind of did the same gig... it was fun to get to know him as well, what a great guy (and cute, accourding to my wife!). He had quite a bit more to say about the Survivors - he's good friends with Lex and Kathy I guess. He didn't think that Alicia would be booted (no one did in my group... so I looked good in the end!).

He said that Kelly G. was on-call to go up until 12 hours before they left... I wonder who almost didn't go? Rupert? He was ask to play, and said yes, but then they wanted Survivors that went further on in the game. He confirmed that Ambuh and Rob M are still together now.

All and all, he hung out with us from about 6PM to 10PM, watching the show, eating and talking about who we think will win, or the final 2, etc., etc. The film crew shot a lot of it. I'm sure it will only be on locally here, in So. Cal., maybe not - I'm not too sure. It's the little count down show before the finale... so if your in So. Cal, look for me! I say the answer to a trivia question: "If you guessed 'B', Sue Hawk, you would be correct!".
