Well that sounds good to me! Guess what? We have scores and the Early Bird deadline is still 10 hours away! Woo Hoo!

Once again I want to thank everyone for your patience. I’m really feeling awful this week as Bebo announced she is leaving us this week. Well we can’t let her go that easily as she won Immunity for this week as she had our highest weekly score. Please come back Bebo!

Also terribly sad that we had three more players bow out this week because they failed to post an entry. Honestly I feel responsible as they probably lost interest due to my tardiness. Lolly and ejm have played this game every season and I hate to see them go, especially ejm who so wonderfully hosted this game one week while I was out of town during S7. Makes me sad that they are gone, so point a deserving finger in my face. I’m doing the best I can!

Game Notes

Immune this week are: Bebo, KOBrien_Fan, and okaloosajohn. The winner of the “guess when echo girl posts the scores bonus” is dandy who received (-1) point for her guess. She also won the Red Ink lowest score bonus of the week and received another (-2) points. Remember Red Inkers to declare picks or points next to your RQ answer.

I also want to not that anyone who answered Rob, Shii Ann, Amber or Alicia for RC were given the points. All four technically won. Since this is such a weird Survivor, I will continue to give you the option of listing up to 2 RC or IC winners. However you take the double risk (-2 points) for each incorrectly listed if you are wrong. If indeed we have two winners you could gain 8 points. Up to you!

Our Weekly Leaders

Bebo absolutely rocked this week, correctly listing Amber as a vote-getter, getting both RC and IC picks right as well as the First Confessional by Amber. Due to her fine performance. Bebo wins the 5 bonus points and rockets up the leaderbaord. Somebody tell her to keep playing! Overall, TeamJoisey & DoodleBug continue to battle and no ground was gained or lost this week. Lots of peeps are closing in though as you have sooo many ways to gain points! Should go down to the wire again.

Rules, Deadlines and Scoring Summary

Deadlines:

A) "Early Bird" bonus points deadline is Tuesday, 9PM (EST). To be eligible for the "Early Bird" bonus of 5 points you must declare "Early Bird" in the subject line and you cannot edit your post after 7PM Tuesday or you will forfeit your bonus and receive a (-10) point penalty. If you don't want to risk this, don't declare "Early Bird" in the subject line. For Red Ink players the bonus points/penalty points are reversed. You will receive (-5) points for an unedited "Early Bird" post and be penalized 10 (positive) points should you edit after the deadline.

B) The regular deadline is Wednesday, 11:59 PM (EST). No penalties or bonus if you make (or edit) your picks before this time. You can post your picks on Monday or Tuesday and edit without penalty on Wednesday as long as you did not declare "Early Bird" in your subject line.

C) Spoiler's Deadline is Thursday, 9PM (EST). If you post or edit your picks any time on Thursday you will be penalized (-8) points (or 8 positive points) for Red Ink Players. You may stay alive, but it's going to cost you points. "Early Bird" entries who edit anytime after 9PM (EST) Tuesday lose (-10) points. A bigger penalty as they were playing for the bonus points. Do Not Edit after the show has begun! One person did this last season and they were booted from the game.


Scoring:

Correct listed bootee (regardless of how many votes) = 5 pts
Failure to list booted player: (-10) pts and possible elimination beginning week 3.
Listed players who receive votes: 2 pts per vote
Listed players who do not receive votes: ( -2) pts per listed player

Tribe Reward Question
Each week you will be asked a "Reward Question/Questions." You must answer this question each week as leaving it blank will be considered a wrong answer. The tribe with the highest percentage of correct answers will receive the weekly reward of 2 points per tribe member (or -2 if you are playing for Red Ink) and you will receive a clue the following week which will help you identify the "Buried Mystery Survivor." In the event your tribe correctly guesses the "Mystery Survivor" prior to our merge, everyone on your tribe will receive an additional 3 bonus points (or -3 if you are playing for Red Ink). You only get one guess per week if you win Reward.

Correctly picking Tribe who wins Immunity = 1 point

Correctly picking player who gives first confessional = 8 pts (pre-merge)
Incorrectly picking player who gives first confessional = (-2) pts
Correctly picking player who gives first confessional = 5 pts (post-merge)
Incorrectly picking player who gives first confessional = (-2) pts

Weekly High Score Bonus

Bonus points for highest weekly score = 5pts. 2.5 pts if two people tie. 1 pt if 3-5 people tie. 0 points if more than 5 players tie.

Picks

You have 50 picks to use for the entire season. Your remaining picks are listed on the leaderboard. Should you last until the end of the season any remaining picks are added to your final score.

Tribe Immunity Challenges

Beginning week 4 your tribe will be competing for Immunity. I will either post a challenge thread where a few tribe members will compete for your Tribe, or ask an IC question. The Tribe that wins this challenge wins Immunity for the week. Meaning no one on your tribe will be eliminated if they fail to pick the bootee that week.

Hey Bebo!

I totally understand so don't feel bad about leaving us. I read your ABC post (I exited that game as well due to my hectic schedule) and I wish you the best even though you will indeed be missed.

Actually if I wasn't hosting this game I would probably totally disappear from SB awhile myself. I love everyone here, but sometimes life just gets too crazy. But since I am hosting this game I'm desperately trying to make it through this season!


Now that I've said that, I will probably be looking for someone to take over this game next season. I would be devestated to see it end, but unless things change drastically for me between now and then I won't be able to committ to another season. I feel guilty enough about my tardiness the past month but as you well know sometimes life gets in the way.

Enough! We will miss you Bebo!

LionChow brought up kissing last week, and there was some debate over what constitutes a kiss. Rob kissed Amber on the top of the head, but not on the lips. Are you looking for a liplock, or will the kiss on the cheek, head, arm, leg... suffice?

My first grandbaby decided to make his debut two weeks ago (the day I last posted), and his "hello, world" was a wee bit more dramatic than expected.

You are wondrously generous and creative, dear echo, but you'll have to work harder if you want to compete with miracles. *grin*
