Well, our ghosts (PhoenixMons, ShowMeTheWinner, SmrtNSassyBnkr and Tribephyl) have returned and one of them has already turned the last place battle upside down. Tribephyl made a huge pick with Jon and has waltzed into last place. More on that later.

For now, let’s talk Bonus Question. Eight players scored a perfect 5 this week: bubbastan, echogirl, FesterFan1, forehead, Punkin, sleeeve, TeamJoisey and tjstein. I feel I owe a “my bad” to GTMike, who has made it a season long crusade to go spoiler free and thus didn’t have nearly as easy a time of this question as others. Therefore, I will make it up to him this week with…

“The Most Shocking Bonus Question Ever”

As you may recall, I ended the description of last week’s Bonus Q with the following: “I was hoping to somehow work Nicole’s boobs into the Bonus Question, but it just didn’t happen.”

This prompted a reply from Bebo which stated that “I understand about guys and boobs, but hers really aren't worth it.” She also won the week last time, so she threw in “See what happens when you mock me? Do it again.”

I replied to this with “There is a fine tradition of cheesecake/beefcake related Bonus Questions in the ABC, and so far this season, it has not been upheld” in attempting to explain the original comment.

At the same time, second-year player and relatively unscathed LeftPinky wrote in that “Gee Lion Chow, seeing what the twisted mocking did to Bebo, I'd like to get out of the water and on the platform to request that I be spat upon and made to walk the plank in a public forum, so that I could be number one.” and “Nicole's boobs??? Who is Nicole???”

Now when you have a slightly demented mind, you can take comments like these and come up with something totally ridiculous and wrong that one would more likely expect to find on the Howard Stern show, but this is Sweeps Week, so the Anti-Bootee Contest will act accordingly. To recap… there is a fine tradition of boob and/or skin related Bonus Questions in this game which hasn’t been upheld yet this season, and, LeftPinky’s post has left her in the very Spring-Break-ish position of standing out on a plank in public while wearing a wet shirt, and let’s just change that “spat upon” to be something more palatable, like Jell-o for instance. After you have gotten this visual properly set in your mind, you are most welcome to proceed to this week’s “LeftPinky Bonus Boobs Question” down below.

The weekly winners were bubbastan, LozengeofLove, PhoenixMons, Punkin, sisyphus, sittem and TeamJoisey (12) in a big bunch. The runner-ups were also a big group comprised of: 321Jump, DracoMalfoy, KermittheVixen, LeftPinky, Lolly and yensid (11).

The weekly bottom dweller, in a romp, was the newly reinstated Tribephyl (-15) who roared back onto the scene after being the only Survy Award contender to pick Jon. The other usual suspects, plus one, were echogirl, forehead (-7), djandy (-6), magic_star (-4) and FesterFan1 (0). With Fester’s appearance in this list, his stay at the top comes to a quick and painful end.

Looking at the overall leader board, the new #1 is LozengeOfLove (73), the ABC rookie with the most intriguing name. Hopefully you can last longer than Baltimore’s finest did. Stuck in second place again is railfan (72) who has to be getting tired of coming so close. After those two are bubbastan (71), LeftPinky (70), Bebo, Corvis (69), Sisyphus (67), 321Jump, FesterFan and TeamJoisey (63).

The last place battle has been turned upside down as Ghost Tribe member Tribephyl (-78) has sunk right down below EchoGirl and forehead (-75) while djandy (-54) and Magic_star (-52) are still barely in the hunt.

I suck at this game, but I'm having fun. And isn't that the point? Anyway, continuing on from last week, I give you my picks and a new poem.

    There were some unbelieveable entries last week that acknowledged and attempted to name the Secret Woid for the ABPABC. There were a number of excellent attempts, but exemplary were PhoenixMons who spit out more words than I've ever seen before in an entry and echogirl whose stream of consicousness is worth a look back if you didn't see it - I was roflmao.

    HOWEVER, with all the great attempts the ABC players are reaching way beyond what is necessary to say the SW - just a hint from the ABPABC - the words for the last three weeks have been cannon, cage and platform. You might notice a common thread among those picks and while I haven't picked the SW this week yet, I think it might go in the same direction.

    This week in the ABPABC we'll be looking for ABP's to give another supreme effort AND we'll also have an over/under bonus for getting closest to the number of ABP's who say the SW this week. Given my hint above it should be easier to come up with a secret word this week that is correct.

    I suppose another way I could go would be to do an over/under on average cup sizes of ABP's, but I don't know if I could get enough ABP's to cooperate. If a few do I could go there - in the unlikely event that some women (and men for that matter - before I lost my 38 pounds I could have participated in this one!) are willing to do this I could find a suitable female to receive the information and let me know - I don't really want to go there myself. sittek might find it odd if she looks at our e-mail and a bunch of women are sending me their cup sizes!

    BTW - if there was any doubt that the ABPABC was a total and complete rip off of the ABC, there is no longer any doubt!

    Even though I *KNEW* in my gut that it was Ryan's turn, I couldn't take the chance (already a ghost and all) and changed - also kept checking back to see if he'd do a neener neener. I should've known based upon the exchange between he and erikman that he was not serious. He said something like "last time you were wrong and you blamed me so now I'm gonna do the same" and it seemed like he was playing around. Oh well....look on the bright side...at least we are still in the game

    I hate the ghosts coming back, but I don't mind them coming back in this AB game. Kinda fun for this game, sucks for the real survivor though. I agree with Andrew. I don't believe that any of these ghosts outsmarted, outwitted, or outplayed me (or will do so).

    Thanks for the nod LC in your summary. Did I get the 2 pts for putting "ghost" as one of my picks? One thing we need to discuss though. Why do we still have 36 players in the game? Are you waiting till we get within 100 or so miles of land before throwing players off our AB pirate ship? Don't be so generous, let 'em walk the plank.

    Tip for everyone. I work with someone who's sister in law works with Rupert. They say Tijuana goes tonight. So everyone, you can put down everyone but T on your safe lists. That is my rec.
