"Survivor 3 what if? Final Four"

The day began with a relieved group of people, and others feeling quite vulnerable. With the surge of people wanting to vote for Brandon last time (they couldn't because he won immunity) Kim Powers felt as if some people were not on her side. True, she didn't like Brandon, but wanted to "keep him around." Lex was happy to have Jessie gone, "the true snake" as he called her. Meanwhile, Teresa and Brandon began talking to Kelly. Kelly, who had been a part of the Kim P and Lex alliance was feeling a little left out, considering the two spent so much time together. Throughout the game, Lex and Teresa had quietly formed a tight bond, and Brandon called Teresa "a saint." Claiming she was the only reason he was still around. Talk was in the air before immunity, as Brandon and Teresa hinted at the possibility of kicking out either Kim P or Lex. Knowing they may be targeted, they felt this was an important immunity.
IMMUNITY: Gathering in front of five large boards covered with rows of letters, host Jeff Probst explained the rules. Working from a list, Survivors had to find Swahili words hidden in letters on their boards. Each word intersected with another, sharing a letter. When all 9 words were circled, the group had to unscramble the 9 intersecting letters and discover the answer to a given clue. First to do so would win immunity.
As the challenge began, it was clear who wanted to win the most. Lex and Branndon immediately began to dominate, finding the first two words quickly. As they searched for their third word, both Kim P and Teresa found one. Kim P found another just as Brandon did, then Lex. The game moved along and soon Lex and Brandon were tied at 7 words found, Kim P had found five, Teresa found four and Kelly had found two. Then... Brandon found the eight and then... the ninth!! He was the immunity winner for the third time!!

With Brandon's immunity win, both Lex and Kim P felt vulnerable to the vote. They brainstormed who to vote for. Kim P stated she did not want to vote for Teresa, because she still felt she had some allegiance. Kelly was the one they felt was betraying so they decided on throwing their votes towards her.
They arrived at Tribal Council, and Jeff asked Teresa who she planned on voting for:
"Well Jeff, i am going to vote for the person that i think is physically threatening to me. I have talked to my team and i feel as if we agreed on who to vote for."
Jeff asked what she meant by team, and she chose not to comment. "Me and her" said Brandon. "We're a team and so are Lex and Kim P. It is time to break up the teams." Jeff said, it is time to vote...
KELLY: My vote tonight is for LEX. Lex, i am sorry, i know we have been in this game together so far, but i think right now this is the best thing to do, i really do. Sorry.

Alright, this is where it's going to get a bit bloody. I really like three of the people in this final four. In fact, they are my ideal final three. There is one person that I truly believe does not deserve to be in the game anymore. I really think male/female final two scenarios are the best. For that reason, and others, I think we should keep Brandon around til the end, where he will most likely lose to the other person, and that will be fine, provided it is one of the two deserving women left. For all I've done to keep Brandon in the game, I'd really appreciate some help now in getting him to the final two. Nobody had to fight to keep Teresa or Kelly around this long. All this said, I cast my vote right now for Teresa, as it seems to be the only thing I can do. I don't want to be seen as a rat. However, let me finish by adapting a favorite strategy of dear ol Tom:
"Well, I'm not going to vote for her, but you all...well you all do what you think is right. wink wink, nudge nudge."

For all those of you voting Brandon again, think about changing your vote or risk losing Teresa along with Ethan and Lex. You have voted Brandon repeatedly and he has won immunity, he has already picked up one vote he has never gotten before in this round. You have lost Ethan and Lex because of pre-struck deals, this time the deal is you guessed it Teresa. Change your votes to KimP or you may loss Teresa this time out. We all know that would be wrong, KimP should go before Teresa. If you vote out KimP this round, I promise not to vote Brandon immunity next round, all I want is for her to go before him.

Well I only like one person in this final 4....but honestly I only liked one person in the entirety of S3, so it's a good thing ;)
I'm just voting for the least deserving, but really as far as I see it, there is only one deserving person anyway. Actually, had it not been for the stupidity of a couple of mental midgets, this ~would~ have been the real final 4.

actually I have less a problem with Kim than with Kelly
Kim was at least nice, once Lindsey was gone, and she wasn't so tied to Brandon (yes it was still stupid not to trust him, but I consider that more his fault for not letting them know what was going on (and for not being able to work with Frank))
Kelly was just a snarky little b!tch
although I guess being Lexed had something (but not everything) to do with that (which also was Brandon's fault)

Would you also consider switching to Kim P? Kelly only has two votes, and they both seem to be Brandon supporters, so if they switch, he'll have a better chance of staying.

Well it appears clear that my vote help in insuring that Kim would not get immunity, it is most likely Teresa with an outside chance for Brandon. Now let us do our jobs as spoilers of the NEXT vote. As you all know we have a sweetheart/eyecandy alliance in these What If games. The final two they are shooting for is Kim and Kelly, now if that is the final two you want there is no need to read any further. I have accepted that Brandon will go either this vote or next, it has been an amazing run to get him this far.
Now imaging you succeed in voting him out this round, guess where that alliances votes go next vote. They are a hard alliance to beat, it took some voters some convincing to get new voters here to beat them in S2's What If. Do you want a fight again next vote to keep Teresa in this game? Now should you decide to eliminate Kim this time, this post alone guarantees that this alliance will 100% vote Brandon next time. Giving you the best remaining final two which you want.
Here is our chance to prove weather or not us Spoilers are smarter or as driven by emotions as the Survivors. Lex wanted Kelly gone the vote she was booted, the comments here at this site where about how they should have waited a week then boot her. Well, we now have the exact same decision. Do you vote out Brandon now on emotions, or wait a week and insure the final two you want? Of course you may vote Brandon this week, and still keep Teresa next week, but why risk it (that is exactly what Lex did). IMO

If Brandon wins immunity (ugh), then it will be KimP who goes, not Teresa. I actually think a Kelly-Teresa final would be decent. I can't believe Brandon and Miss-hanger-on KimP made it this far.

I know this Teresa is safe this week, and she is safe against Brandon next vote, but may be in trouble against Kim because of a strong alliance.

I wouldn't say the Kim alliance is the strong alliance. She is not the one who has won immunity the last two times in a row. Infact, she has never won it. Brandon is clearly the bigger threat. He may never stop winning immunity at the rate he is going.

I'm sorry, but I think BaquaR makes a better point... I think the pro-Brandon alliance is a bigger threat than the Kim P one...
So, I should just keep plugging away at him each time!
I'm positive that there are enough people here that someone else could win IC this time or next!

This whoa message wasn't for you BMH, it was for Q. We made a final three pact VERY early in the game, and though I'm not exactly sticking to it, Teresa is in no danger of going by my voting for her, and it's the only way I can keep my word to Baquar. Someone else was not included in the pact, and I can't understand why Q is not voting for her instead.

I am afraid this may turn into the battle that we all have been waiting for. Kim P vs. Brandon. I hope not though. See, the way i see it, both Brandon and Kim P would lose to anyone (except eachother) in the finals. Why not vote out Teresa tonight and put these two in the finals? If anyone is willing to do that, and i see some Teresa votes in here, i will GLADLY change my vote accordingly. But for now, i am going to protect Kim P. After two careful counts, i having concluded that we are in a deadlock. The immunity count is: Teresa- 13, Brandon - 13. The tribal council votes are: Kim P- 12, Brandon-12. Sorry, honey but I don't think it's fair until you've awarded Immunity, especially since Kim has far less IC votes than Brandon. Even if it happens to be a random drawing that Teresa wins, a revote shouldn't happen until that is over with.
But since we're voting anyhow, I'll stick with my vote; not that it matters since they both really suck and I don't think I want either one in the final 2 (not that they'd have a chance in hell except against eachother ;)

Samburu had gone into the merge down 6-4. Kelly switched because of Brandon's being able to talk to Lex's gut, not because Kim had convinced Kelly to join them. Kelly only changed after she knew she was the target. Because of Brandon either Kim or Teresa was going to win S3, Kim gave it back to Ethan. Even Frank was willing to work with Brandon to uust either Lex or Tom, whichever didn't get immunity. It never aired, but both Frank and Brandon said that is what they discussed at the movie. Kim never played the game Brandon did.

No offense to the host, but it's clearly biased against Brandon. Since he tied for most immunity votes, he should either be given immunity, since Teresa won't be affected, or there should be a re-vote for immunity as well. Obviously, with no immunity, all the Brandon haters will get rid of him. So I voted, but I really don't think it's very fair.

Now that I look at it again, this is extremely unfair to Brandon. If he and Teresa were tied for immunity, then there should've been a random drawing, like you did early between Kim P. and Brandon for immunity. Now, even though Teresa probably would've won this "random drawing", without immunity Brandon still would've beaten Kim P., because past votes count and she has more past votes (which is how the Silas Kim J. tie was resolved earlier in the game). So either way, whether Brandon got immunity or not, Kim would be gone. This revote is really unfair to Brandon and shouldn't be held.

I'm sorry, but I'm really going to have to disagree with you on this one... I do think that we should be voting on Immunity instead though.
Brandon and Teresa tied in IC votes, right? I think the whole point of doing it this way was to determine whether we actually want Brandon or Kim P to go.
Look at the options:
Teresa wins Immunity, Brandon goes (If I tallied correctly)
Brandon wins Immunity, Kim goes
So, prior to this vote, we only have TWO (yep, count them) boot choices, Kim and Brandon. So why not have a vote between them? Think about it, if you voted for the Immunity Winner instead, where do you think all those "Brandon" votes will go? TERESA for IC!
Randomizing things would be pretty lame. The point of a What If is to decide for OURSELVES who should go, not some stupid rock/coin/etc.
I know that Brandon's your favorite castaway, but don't knock the game and how it's run. I'm sure BaquaR has put in quite a bit of time into it. Strategize!

Sorry Jim, but he has a point and one that I didn't think of before. Whether or not Brandon won immunity, Kim would be out just on a precedent of what we have seen before (She has 2 more prior votes than he does). If the tie resolver hadn't been used before it'd be different, but it seems like a bit of favourtism to disregard your own rules later on.

First off, let me say that i have been really sick, so i just got on and saw all of this. Secondly, know that i would never cheat in a game like this. Everyone who stated their points about Brandon was completely accurate, which is why i am ending the tally now (so Kim P will be the boot). Johnthemod kind of proved the reason that i didn't do a "random" IC. It's because even if Teresa won people would have definetly thought it was unfair. But, i didn't think about the fact that Kim P had more TC votes, it didn't even cross my mind. I thank you (was it Kokoro?) for pointing that out, because i want this game to be fair and it wouldn't have been fair if Brandon had gone. So... i will update shortly on our results.

Prior to the challenge, Kim P felt vulnerable. Lex was gone and Kelly had turned on her in the last vote. As she thought back to Lex's departure, she felt sad, knowing they had the strongest bond that now belonged to Teresa and Brandon. Brandon and Kim P wanted to win the challenge, but Brandon knew that if he won immunity it may put Teresa in a precarious position. But, what Kim P, Brandon and Teresa all knew is that Kelly was the swing vote. Knowing this, Kim P began to spend her time with Kelly, completely isolating Brandon and Teresa.
The immunity challenge...
After receiving Tree Mail notifying them of their next Immunity Challenge, the tribe met host Jeff Probst at the Tribal Council site, where he had also invited the members of the Jury to observe the next challenge. He then explained that the challenge would reveal how much the remaining Survivors had learned about those voted out before them. Eight questions would be asked about the other twelve Survivors with whom they had spent the past thirty-six days. The person who answered the most questions correctly would win Immunity.
Question 1- They all missed it...
Question 2- Kim P, Teresa, Brandon
Question 3- Kim P got it right. (the question involved Lex, and she smiled at him as she got it right)

Jeff Probst soon recognized the tie. He asked... Looking over at the jury... What is the total age of the jury? At this news, Kim P smiled, Brandon frowned, and Kelly sat without a reaction.

The survivors walked to tribal council knowing it was going to be two people getting the votes cast against them. Kim P felt it may be her because Lex had gone last week and they wanted to eliminate that twosome entirely. Brandon had felt vulnerable the whole game, so it could have been him. The remaining survivors sat on their logs as Jeff stated his first question. "What has been the most surprising part about being out here?"
Kim P answered this: "I think it has been how poorly some people's choices are. I think there are some people in this tribe that think just because two people have some sort of bond or spend a lot of time together they should be broken up. I personally think it is just ridiculous."
Jeff: "Anyone want to respond to this."
Brandon: "Yeah i definetly do. I think is pretty unfair of you to say that Kim. You were the ones who isolated yourselves from others. You were the ones that thought you were better than everyone else. I wanted to speak to Kelly and ask her to please see the way Kim has suddenly become very close to you. Me and Teresa will both be voting for Kim tonight, and i hope you can do the same."
Jeff: "Well, with that, it is time to vote, Kim, your up first."
Kim: BRANDON
Teresa: My vote is for KIM P. I think what you said just now is really the reason you don't belong here anymore.

I just want to say a HUGE thank you to those who have helped me get Brandon this far. This is where I stop fighting hard for him. THIS IS MY FANTASY FINAL THREE!! I'm ecstatic. Both of the ladies sitting next to him are totally deserving of the win. Two quick things in support of keeping Brandon for the final two:
1. Male/female final two's are always better in my opinion.
2. Think about it in terms of these people playing the game. Who would Kelly or Teresa want in the final two with them? I think either of them would choose Brandon, being fairly confident that each could beat him. I don't see a strategist like Kelly bringing "everybody loves Teresa" in with her, nor do I really see Teresa just loving snarky diva Kelly.
So think about it this way: do you want your lady to win, or get 2nd place? I'll leave it at that.

I look at it in two ways. One, is in terms of the game. Brandon has won three immunity challenges (almost four) and has overcome tons of votes to get where he is and i always root for the underdog. Next, if Teresa goes and it is Brandon and Kelly in the finals, it may guarantee Kelly a win!! And to be honest, i still think Brandon was a horrible survivor, but it would be quite a shock to see him win, and i can't say i would be that mad about it.

As I promised, no immunity vote this time around.
I also want to Thank all which help get Brandon this far. I honestly though I would be lucky to get him to the jury when this started. I only want to get him as far as I could (final 3 is awesome). My goal when starting was to get him past the two leaders of the Evil Empire, Frank and Tom. Once that happened I set my sights on the remaining two members of the dark side, KimP and Ethan. I amazed that all of this happened.

I think this is an okay F3. I think Lex or Ethan should be here, but oh well! As for the Brandon backlash? He made a brilliant move and a stupid move. We can reward him for the former or punish him for the later but IMO he made S3 interesting and less predictable...at least for a few episodes. I won't vote him for IC this time since Kim P is gone. I just thought he deserved to stay longer than her.

Besides, IMHO, I think he is the biggest threat left in the game to both Teresa and Kelly. The Brandon alliance has pulled so many strings... Even e-mailing people they don't even know!!!
