"Survivor 2: What If? (Final Episodes)"

Jims02 suggested a new threat, and with a hefty thread that is about to sink to the depths of the Fanatics board archives, it is time for a new one which will last us for the final votes....
12 are gone, 4 remain, as we add LIZ's name to the tally....

Immunity Challenge
This week's immunity challenge will be "Match Game".....pulling covers off of items known for being in the Australian Outback. The Survivor with the most matches wins.....this ends up being a long, boring challenge, with ALICIA tied with TINA going into the final five matches. TINA picks up a match of two plates of Kangaroo-Doo, and COLBY messes up by picking a boomerang and a kangaroo statue. It's RODGER's turn, and he gathers up a match of the Kangaroo-Statues. ALICIA pulls a Colby and picks the other boomerang and a bone, and TINA seals the deal with the final match, matching up two bones!

DORITOS congratulates TINA WESSON, winner of this week's immunity challenge!!!!
And with the final four Survivors remaining, one must go....

Don't worry it won't happen again ;) and like I said, it's not like it was all me this time....
Actually, I have to apologize at least partially for the last one, it was mostly just because of competitive spirit (because really, I love Lis just as much as practically everyone else does ;). However, I feel perfectly justified for early help because it definitely prevented this whole thing from getting very nasty (ie. a lot of people were getting very pissed off about certain early alliances, it just wasn't being broadcast).

My vote along Koko's lines came AFTER it would have done his choice any good. My vote this time is entirely the way I personally would like to see it go and has nothing to do with Koko's choices. But I really do like Tina. She may well be my favorite survivor ever.

It's hard to read some of I AM HE's posts about Koko grabbing some votes, without having to step in! (I am a DAW after all!)
Actually, Kokoro was right when he said that it wasn't solely him rounding up votes... I think BaquaR figured me out when he asked "how I did it". Some of my good friends: Red Lady *waves back*, true, GeorgiaBelle, and PapaBear helped me make the vote more interesting!
Sorry if anybody got mad at what happened, I just gotta look out for my girl, Tina, just like others!
Besides, it looks like Tina's going soon anyway... So, if y'all want to vote out "the idiot" that won S2, go ahead. If that's what you want, I see no point in meddling!

I mean I really do believe that besides Ethan she wasn't a good winner..She was just plain lucky that Colby was nice enough to give her the win..in my opinon..but I never really hated her on the show..and she seems like such a good person from her many post-survivor interviews..so I will give her that

Actually, no, I didn't have a problem with it, I was just trying to make things interesting. I give Kokoro credit for breaking up the alliance at the beginning

This is what happens in ALL these What Ifs. A certain group of people keep trying over and over again to get rid of a certain player. That players supporters then vote for the next person with the most votes to save their player. One groups most hated player always has a group just as large of being favorite player. This way a player most people would keep until later goes earlier than expected, because they also had a hate group which gets their votes in early. And players most don't care about stay well past the point were they should have gone.

ejm, you and I both wanted Alicia originally, but went Colby because we thought there would be more support that way...I'll switch over if you will, but that still doesn't help Rodger unless one or more additional people switch to Alicia

yep Kokoro, I would have voted Alicia for sure, but there were more votes for Colby, so I had to go the way I thought would be most helpful to Rodger!
edit: if you can get a couple people to switch from Colby to Alicia, I'll go too. I think the other three are all more deserving, but Colby now has 6 votes (including mine) while Alicia only has 3. And I think 8 for Rodger

I didn't want to vote Rodger now either, but like I explained above to save Colby it was the ONLY move available at the time. Alicia is the person everyone wanted gone now, but she is skating by. I'm absolutly willing to change, and yes on Tina also she should not win again.

Alright somebody obviously sabatouged the voting on this thread AGAIN! The same few people got in last minute votes all giving Tina Immunity..I hate to accuse anyone of anything..but that caught my eye as I was scrolling the thread...

tough vote tina doesn't deserve a final 2 spot the 2 men did however I gotta give my vote to rodger cuz colby was the man! he dominated all the challenges and had the game won but was such a nice guy that he gave the game away he deserves the title as the winner especially for giving it away to begin with

Tina's in the final two, this is wonderful. If Rodger goes this week, it'll just prove that the final two in the outback were the right people to be there. Somehow I doubt that anyone will allow Tina to win again, but I think she should. Anyway, sorry to see Alicia go, she was my fantasy #3.
EDITED TO ADD: I'd like to write the jury speech for Jeff if I could. It's really too bad Jerri's not on the jury to give a speech. And/or Tina's final speech (i'd love to write both, but if someone else wants to write for Jeff, then they could do that and I could write Tina's final speech)

Seriously, this has got to have been the toughest vote I've had, since I like Rodger and Colby almost equally...
I really think that Colby/Tina should be our What If Final 2, as well as the real Final 2... A lot of people felt that the point of having a What If is to have a DIFFERENT result than the normal! Really, the reason why we have these is to see what would happen if the game was in OUR hands! That doesn't necessarily mean that we can't agree with the real results! If Kathy won S4, would we all want to vote her out?
I was kind of an "anti-Colby" person, but I think he really deserves being in the finals (and probably winning)

I would have loved to have seen Alicia sneak into the F3 but this isn't a bad group. Of the three left I think Rodger is the nicest person, but probably the least deserving to win. Unless I really dislike someone, I've tried to vote out the least deserving remaining Survivor. So my vote goes to probably the kindest Survivor ever.

The first member called up by Jeff Probst to ask a question to the final two is JEFF. He approaches Tina and Colby, and begins.....
"It's been a long one, and of course I thought I was a bit unjustly kicked out of this game, but what can I say, you two followed the basis of the game: Outwit, Outplay, and Outlast. Tina, you certainly outwitted, you outplayed and won several challenges, and you have certainly schemed your way through things and outlasted. Same goes for you, Colby. I think Colby had more of the Outplay aspect, though, and Tina, you had more of the Outwit aspect of this game. The remaining would be Outlast...and since we really don't have much time for anything here tonight, I want the two of you to have a staring contest, the winner gets my vote."
The two begin to stare, and the contest lasts for about two or three minutes, before Tina flinches, and Colby's ice cold stare wins out.
"Thank you guys, good luck, and I'll see you back in the States."
JEFF approaches the voting podium, and writes TINA down on the piece of paper.....
"Ok, I already had my mind up coming here tonight that Tina was more deserving of the vote. I will never vote for a person (Colby) who knowingly lost the game. I liked him and it is good that he made it this far, but he should not be called a winner. Tina played the best, she deserves to win.

She overcame great odds and with a little luck her tribe had the majority once the tribes merged and had their first TC.
She knew what to say and when to say it she kept in good spirits and kicked some major ass.
She even convinced someone who said "there is no way in HELL I'm gonna lose this game" that it would be wise to take her instead of someone he could easily beat.

I've been rooting for Tina for a long long time. She was my favorite survivor during the show and she's one of my favorites of all time. I was ecstatic with her beating Colby in the actual game, and I'm hoping to be happy for her again for winning this one.

I was going for Rodger, but I can't say these two don't deserve to be here. And I can't say Tina didn't deserve to win the real thing either - she played as good a game as can be played, as good as Rich or Kathy or Vee or Brian - so my vote goes to her. It will be pretty amazing if she wins again, with so many people gunning for her merely for the fact that she won!

Colby is a good guy, and by now he's got a tv career started. The exposure has been good for him.
Tina has been on HGTV and had her million dollars spent on redecorating. She doesn't get a million for winning What If, but she ultimately played better than Colby.
Colby is a challenge whore and can win the physical aspect of Survivor better than anyone. His problem, though, is that he can't win against the savvy manuevings of a woman of Tina's age. She's older; she's wiser.

Finally justice can be done! Colby deserves it so much more than Tina. I love the way he "played" Jerri. He won so many challenges. Tina just tagged along. She should have been gone long ago. She was just lucky.

Well, I haven't had access for a few days (Christmas break -> No internet at home) but I actually did get to see the boards through a phone (those new phones kick so much a$$ ;)

As the jury has finished their questioning, Jeff lets them think for just a few short moments, and then asks them to vote.
Jeff approaches the voting urn, and shows his vote for Tina...."Tina is a loving, sweet, Southern mother that everyone loves, and she loves everybody....yeah right....she has outplayed every one of us, and my vote goes to her...."
