Sherpa Dave Whacked by the Robfather

Last night the Robfather took Sherpa Dave for a little one-way ride to the nearest Staten Island landfill and now Sherpa “sleeps with the fishes.” Dave, desperately trying to catch Survy for last place, made a risky move picking Rob last night and it ended up putting him out of the game. The good news for Dave is that he picked up -21 points and has knocked Shyn out of the last place prize. He now is the man to beat with -41.

Looking at the weekly winners and losers the list was topped by a group of four: IvoryElephant, Punkin, rwj3eb and Tribephyl at +6. This week’s bottom dweller was, of course, Sherpa Dave and his -21. Making a masterful selection that lost points and allowed him to stay in the game was Survivorerist with -4.

The Big Board continues to show I_AM_HE and LisaPooh (46), on top, with Hawkeye (45) right behind. It’s worth noting that if Hawkeye could’ve brought himself over to The Dark Side, and voted for Team Evil, he’d be in first place right now. Hawk, do not resist the power of the Dark Side. Also staying close are Bebo (44), DRich61 (43) and GTMike (43). Of the 33 remaining players, Survivorerist (-29) has put an even stronger hold on last place with Sherpa Dave falling out of the race. EchoGirl (-16) lost ground this week and is now a long shot. Sherpa Dave, after waging battle with Survivorerist for weeks, now must sit and watch, hoping his lead holds up.

Reward And Immunity Challenge Setup
In light of less-than-stellar reviews for my new team challenge setup, I have elected to take a 4-year-old’s approach and stick my head in the sand, stubbornly refusing to listen to anyone. I’ll even close my eyes, cover my ears and hold my breath if I have to. I still like the setup and think it will work out fine. In the case of a two person reward challenge winner that gets split between my two teams, I’ll just throw out that challenge. I’ve already gotten some good ideas from Survy and Rebel Crown, which brings us to this week’s teams:

Thanks for a fun game, it turned out to be more of a challenge than expected. But I will be making no more selection for the rest of this season, I am officially leaving the game. I had hoped that sittem's comment from last week were going to make a difference, but they didn't. I totally understand (and unfortunately get it) that what follows was an attempt at humor, but IMO it belongs on bashers, not fanatics.

oh, geez, i have no idea who to pick. i think i have a pretty good handle on the challenge winners, but as for the boot...? As a result, my anti-bootee picks are gonna be rather conservative this week, and if someone passes me, so be it

Just for kicks, I'm going to predict the anti-RC winner(S); as well as, the anti-boot(s).

I predict Sean to not win/possibly throw the RC;
because where he comes from,
"Brothas don't know how to swim."
Hence, he would not want to spend the day, diving.

I pick Tammy/Vee/Robert as the anti-boots.
All are safe, this week, IMO.

I pick Pachal/Neleh as my alternate anti-boots.

Okay... first of all... your brilliant decision to put John on the GALS team has thrown me for a loop, because I've narrowed RC down to Robert and John, and I honestly am not sure which will win... I'm gonna go with my gut, and guess that Robert will win the RC, and Tammy the IC.

Okay... not safe this week are Zoe, Kathy, John, and Sean... Sean will probably not get any votes, as Kathy and Zoe will war, with John picking up votes from Sean and possibly some other non-alliance members, but I can't risk the possibility that Sean ends up with a vote, so...

Not to seem like kissing ass, but I've got a lot of respect for you, and well a couple of others as well.

Why I cut it so close. I shall cut it short, lest I sound like John, trying to justify things.

Had a long day yesterday, returned home very late only to find that I forgot my lap top. Came to work way too early to vote, but found that the server had problems and nearly had a fit trying to get the vote in.

Just so that I do not get outted as a Survivor Addict, I won't tell you which country I'm in. Don't know anything about time zones, but at the time of this postis 19 Feb 02, 2.30pm.
