Product placement, yes, but if you are going to give 2 cars away then you should get to show it off!

Getting Ford to give away a couple of cars shows the value of the Emmy. Survivor hasn't had a car sponsor in maby years. (Of course, having a car curse doesn't help!)

And it does not hurt to have all the people driving your car yelling out how much fun they are having either.

I better that show alone will result in real sales directly from just watching the racers.

So the scheduled game was New England/Philly. At 7:00PM with the game completely out of Philly's reach, CBS switches over to Denver/San Diego which goes OT and holds up the entire evening by 55 minutes. Why switch - just to make everything even later?
