Agreed. This Joe thinks that Joe was annoying.
Something is fishy though:
---------------------
Reality TV World: How were you cast on The Amazing Race? Was it your first time applying?
Heidi Wang: (to Joe) Um, how do you want to put this?
Joe Wang: You mean how were we cast?
Reality TV World: How did you end up on the Race -- was it something one of you wanted to do and asked the other? Had it been your first time trying to get on the show? What's the backstory?
Joe Wang: One time. We applied just like some of the other teams.
Reality TV World: Was there one of you that wanted to be on it more than the other that had suggested it first?
Joe Wang: Originally we were brought -- we had an opportunity to get on the Race. So we both said that's something interesting and we both agreed to go on it together. And it was a challenge for us because I like the competitive fun in team sports and we liked the show itself. So we pursued it together.
-------------------
I don't think they actually applied, they knew someone or something. The answers to these last questions were very evasive.

That's all they ever seemed to show.
Brandy Snow: That's all they HAD to show!
Carol Rosenfeld: Yeah.
Brandy Snow: I mean let's be honest. (laughs)
Carol Rosenfeld: I think watching the last several weeks, when it started with "the lesbians" and "the mean lesbians" and "the lesbians" and "the mean lesbians," I think we were both kind of blindsided because to have this painted as some kind of feud with Brent and Caite, we were completely unaware of any kind of feud.

Carol Rosenfeld: "There's not a bunch of tape of me being mean or of us being mean. It's like I said, we were not even near them for the first third of the Race in terms of being on the same planes, the same buses, etc."
Ok Carol, what's shown on tape is all we the viewers have to go on, but it's a bit disingenuous for you to be relying on that. You were there, you don't need to rely on the edited version. If you were mean, you were mean, if not, you weren't, it's not left up to anyone to prove anything. And as to denying that Brandy&C were even near Brent&C, yes they were, that was on tape.
Carol Rosenfeld: "Based on our own merit... "
Brandy Snow: "...and we were robbed of our opportunity."
Carol Rosenfeld:"Based on our own best. And we were robbed that opportunity."
No you weren't. The U-Turn was legally used, and there doesn’t have to any justification given for who get's U-Turned. You and Brandy were the target of Brent and C's animosity for reasons that you were at least partially responsible for, and that is that. No one robbed anyone of anything in regard to the U-Turn.
(This is the one that got me giggling...)
Carol Rosenfeld:"I think also, to some degree, she also felt -- and I'm not blaming Brandy at all -- that Brandy was stealing her thunder. There's another very beautiful woman on the show, she's been a successful model in Europe, and I think Caite was a little probably surprised and intimidated by that."
OK, Feminine beauty is a subjective thing, and bless Carol for her judgment. And in her non-beauty pageant mode Caite isn't really more than kinda cute, a kind of cute you can see her growing out of as she passes thru her 20's. But Brandy is (in my opinion, and I am the very best judge of feminine beauty that I know) scary. Boney. With a cannibalistic smile. She would be perfect casting for the Old Woman in the forest who wants to get Hansel and Gretel into her oven. Bless Carol for her vision, but I would be more attracted to a charging alligator than Brandy. In fact, Carol (IMO) is the more attractive of the two.
Of the two teams, I would have preferred that Brent and C be eliminated, Brandy and C’s cat factor was more entertaining than Brent&C idiot act.
Nepharious!
