Good question, especially given Ericka's timeout a couple of Roadblocks back. I'm guessing he can't ask Gary directly, but he might be able to leave the building and check with people on the sidewalk.

My Dad used to have to build the fire for the Saturday night Sauna when he was a kid.

They'd invite all the other Estonians over for sauna and adult beverages. Luckily you aren't driving drunk when the horse pulls the cart home.

The question is would the natives be wearing towels if it weren't for the American's and their cameras. I remember during one Olympics they did a slice of life thing in a sauna and the natives were pretty vocal about the not usually wearing towels thing.

Gary and Matt said it took 20 minutes, counting travel, to do the speed bump. They finished 7 minutes behind Brian & Ericka. So the speed bump was the determining factor, even if all of you minimize its difficulty.

I could see how the travel time could rack up enough of a delay it would be hard to overcome.

It is hard to tell on the show how long it took to get there and back. The task itself, still a piece of cake, IMO.

I can see picking things that are mostly a time delay rather than likely to be next to impossible to complete. Not much drama in seeing one team still at the speed bump when all the other teams are on their way to the pitstop.

Didn't Megan & Cheyne leave all their stuff and run to meet Phil at the Tower WITHOUT their fannypack which contains their travel documents? Just because their stuff is back there on the walk doesn't mean they haven't left something behind somewhere.

And actually it didn't look like they even had their pack when then left the cab.......
interesting....
I was hoping their cab driver was driving off with all their packs.

I was really hoping Matt would say to Phil: "I don't care about the million dollars; I found my prize out here and it was that cute Blonde in the saunabuss. We mouthed "I love you" to each other."


Gary and Matt were a fun team and the editors seemed to agree. I don't remember many teams getting footage of their finest moments.

I don't know... it still looked as if there was slipping on the path and skidding forward more than there was a deliberate take-out attempt. And if the producers suspected a flagrant foul, a thirty-minute timeout would have been the least of the Globetrotters worried.

Judging from the comments on the mat, it sounds like both teams got a bit physical. In the end Michel is right. What was the point? Neither team was going to be last and they knew it.
