Detour - Russian Bride or Russian snowplow. Both involve driving a Lada, a little Russian car. The bride one you drive to an apartment block, find a waiting bride, drive her to a church where her groom awaits. After the couple has their picture taken, the groom will give you the next clue.

Snowplow is a cumbersome snowplow that has to be driven in a training course.

I thought it was a non-elimination -- I just got the wrong team. Hope Christie & Jodi's Speed Bump doesn't get them Philiminated, although they aren't my favorite team.

I think Tammy & Victor -- especially Victor -- will be the villains of the Race. Which means they probably won't win. And I've got Tammy on the BTAR game!

Somehow, I'm getting a Zack/Flo feeling of an edit from Margie/Luke -- as in Margie is the bionic woman (like Zack was the superman) and Luke is the whiny one who bails out or goes into theatrics during tasks (like Flo did, but at least he's quite a bit more capable).

My problem with Margie and Luke was their attitude that Victor and Tammy were being tricky and not to be trusted. Excuse Me... M/L are the ones that blindsided a team last week because it is race. But when someone doesn't help them they think they are nasty and it's not fair. They can't have it both ways. And Luke is getting too whiny.

Agreed, it's all about what Luke wants. Kinda like TAR3 was all about Flo and her flirting with one of the twins or crapping her shorts during a task.

You guys may have a point about Margie & Luke getting the Flo & Zach editing.

Which reminds me -- I miss Michel's look at the editing of The Amazing Race teams. I wonder which one s/he thinks is getting the winning edit.

I think Margie's even temperament has made me turn a bit of a blind eye to Luke's whinyness. I was talking to a friend who also watches the show today, and she commented on how she was finding Luke more annoying each episode. He reminds her of a spoiled child, always given what he wants so he hasn't learned how to deal well with frustration.

My favorite team right now is Mel/Mike. The dad gets in some of the best lines!

I missed the drunken Russian cheerleaders, this time.

I mean, the double takes from drunk pedestrians almost made up for it, but there's just something special, something more energetic and fun loving, about a seated gallery of drunks.

And the Oompah band? Not being repeated? I guess that's just an Austrian thing.
