During the Pit Stop, someone threw a Blondie sports bra over the balcony....... the accusation is that Starr did it, who says "WTF do we gain from doing that?" which is a valid point......

They are flying to Le Paz, Bolivia........ @ 12k feet above sea level, it could leave teams breathless, literally.......

Upon arriving in Le Paz, they had to go to the statue of Simon Bolivar, and wait for the morning paper, and look in the classified ads for a clue leading to a hat store....... some teams walked to the hat store, and some tried to brave morning rush hour traffic via taxi........

Detour

Musical March or Bumpy Ride?

Musical March involves teams going on foot to two parks to collect members of a marching band that they have to take to a bandleader who'll give them their clue....... (a couple of teams are not sure if they have to do the entire clue by walking.....)

Bumpy Ride involves teams going to a spot where there are locally handmade bikes, and using the provided map, traverse the cobblestone roads to the route marker, which happens to be right behind the bandleader of the Musical March.....

Since both Detours converge into a single location, you know what that means........Caution! U-Turn Ahead!

I am laughing my butt off-it's the Nacho Libre Road Block! THey have to costume up and get into the ring with a Fighting Cholita-a woman in a grass skirt? LOL no, it's not a grass skirt.

Well, it's been a couple of laughs. Sadly, the Geeks can't seem to get it done because of altitude sickness. They got there first and either four or 5 teams have gotten past them. They seem doomed anyway because they took a cab to the detour instead of going on foot.

That looked like fun! Definitely a great roadblock.

That was a fun roadblock and even both detours were fun. With Aja asking Starr to detour the Divorcees and then saying Starr asked her to do it, this race is starting to be interesting.

Michel - Did you think that Aja asked Starr to u-turn Kelly/Christy? That's not what I saw. I saw Starr asking Aja. So Aja was telling the truth when she told the Divorcee that Starr had asked A/T to U-Turn K/C.

I was really happy to see Aja tell her because I know that will create more tension between N/S and K/C. And as sorry as I am to see the comic book guys go, I'm glad the K/C stayed in it, just so we can see them fight with N/S.

Thanks. I must have heard it wrong. It would have been more fun if Aja had asked Starr though. Snakes are more interesting than snitches.

The Geeks didn't read the clue properly and didn't take the cab to the next task so they're going to get some kind of time penalty.

So far nobody's using the U-turn.......

Kelly/Christy did have a couple of wipeouts on the way there......

Time for the Roadblock!

Whoever does it must fight a girl, a female wrestler, who'll teach them a 6-move routine........ They'll get taught in an outside ring, then go to the main ring inside to try to do the routine, with the ref making the call if they believably completed the routine...... failure results in another outside training session, and waiting to go back in the ring........ They must present the hat from earlier in the leg as a gift to the Chalita/female wrestler......

Geeks rolled a one on their dexterity roll to re-enter the ring........ *sigh*

Dammit!

First they rolled a 1 on a Constitution check while back outside training, causing the Geek to need an Oxygen mask........

Then after getting light-headed again in the ring, he rolled a 1 on the Dexterity Check for the Duck and Flip maneuver........

I think that the frat boy that did the Detour had his superhero shirt on too. I would have asked to keep the cape - though me in a leotard would not have been a pretty sight!
