Why did SeeBeeSss only have one football game on in my media market this afternoon?

Did they preempt a game for the local parade, or is this the whole East Coast?

How are they supposed to start TAR 55+ minutes late without a sporting event that can go into multiple sudden death overtimes?

Jets off the air and only one game on CBS: NYC media market will start on time unless the current program officially finishes turning into a ninety-minute infomercial for I Am Legend.

Again on time in Canada. Life would be good if I did not have to shovel the driveway tomorrow morning.

Have we not seen ticket offices in town open early before. I would have gone into town to check out the offices. Meanwhile I bet the office in the airport does not open to 9:00 am.

Yep, R&C find a office open early. And the lady is shaking her head at how Ronald treats his daughter.

Ronald was right to question the flight choice but he could learn to be nicer about it.

I am not surprised to hear the Goths say that they want to go to Romania or somewhere spooky. So going to Lithuania excites them.

That goes double when it is not your country, triple when you don't speak the local language, and quadruple if you don't know what laws you may also be breaking.

No, she is having problems understanding what some of the players want. The ones who stay calm and taking care to explain better what they want are getting better flights.

Posted by Snidget on 12-02-07 at 08:37 PM
When they all want to go to the same place I think she probably knew what the later people wanted after figuring it out once.

I think she may have given some of the flights based on how much she liked the people/how rude they are.

I think you are right, I meant the first two or three, but by then she knew what was up and the better you treated her the better the flight.

Ronald has the nerve to tell his daughter to be quiet while he is doing the roadblock. Sure... like he was silent when she was trying to jump the ditch.

Grip. Depending on the type/shape of the soles on his shoes they may have a poor fit or are slipping if he tries to use them.

They are just not getting along, couldn't even count fenceposts without fighting. They are the last team to arrive.

Speaking of fighting, Jen and Nathan were at each other's throats for almost the entire episode. Nathan told her he hated what she turned into and he also called her a b!tch during the counting task (which they gave up on for the stilt walking.) If they are still together and they watched that tonight they had to be cringing.

Did the blonds pick up the right gnome? If not they were doomed before they even started counting.

Yea! Most of the annoying people are gone! I can deal with Azaria's ego and Ronald is only a little annoying now. Nathan and Jennifer can go tho.

Nate and Jen still fighting. They are in a row boat and she screams at him "why are you YELLING!!!!!?" tells him, more like screams at him that she hates him with a passion. Looks like Azaria loses patience with Hendi next time but it doesn't look like a big deal.

If anyone's trying to read this thread and figure out what happened:

This leg started with a flight to Vilnius, Lithuania, The instructions prohibited booking online. Turned out that the only flight out of Burkina Faso left on Air France at 10:45 PM, and since the first two teams started at 6:45 AM, they were all going to be on he same flight to Paris. The first team to book, Ronald and Christina, booked on a flight through Prague that arrived in Vilnius at 2:15 PM the next day. Everyone else booked on either a 1:30 PM arrival through Amsterdam or a 1:45 PM arrival through Frankfurt. When Ronald and Christina found out, they decided not to change. All of the flights arrived on schedule, but several of the teams became really lost looking for the first marker (at a church) in Vilnius, which is an old city with confusing streets -- which allowed Ronald and Christina, who hired a taxi driver to lead them to the marker, to end up mid-pack.

The first marker was a roadblock, which involved making two hand deliveries. The blondes (Shana and Jennifer) got really lost while searching for the church and fell way behind. Donald and Nicholas were the first team to arrive, but Nicholas got completely lost looking for his second delivery stop. All of the other teams except them completed the task and left before the blondes arrived. Shana blew through the task, but Nicholas finally completed it too, leaving them neck-to-neck.

The next marker involved a hunt at a Lithuanian history museum through about a thousand Travelocity gnomes for a blue-coated gnome. Once teams found such a gnome, they had to bring it with them, and then do a Detour at a traditional Lithuanian festival: either count the number of fence posts in a picket fence, or walk a certain distance on stilts. TK finished the stilt course and had a long wait for Rachel to finish, but she did, just before Kynt & Vyxsin finished counting correctly (717). After finishing, teams had to walk (sprint) to the windmill nearby that was the pit stop. TK & Rachel narrowly won and got a 10-day trip to Japan.

Ronald wanted to do the stilts but couldn't finish the course repeatedly, while Christine was done quickly. Azaria & Hendekea also went for the stilts, while Nathan & Jennifer did the count -- or, rather, Jennifer did the count after bitching out Nathan, but she got 727 and had to start over. Ronald finished, finally, and then A&H finished, and Nathan decided he'd had enough of Jen and went to the stilts -- which they finished quickly for fifth.

Donald & Nicholas arrived shortly before the blondes (who got a little lost again), and held a slight lead into the Detour, where both elected to count. Nicholas realized that he'd counted some posts that he shouldn't have counted when he overheard the blondes, and went back to adjust his initial count (737) by subtracting the posts he should have skipped, per the instructions. He correctly subtracted 20, and when the blondes came up with a number that was way too low, they were left to marvel about karma being a bitch (kinda like them) and to go home.

The previews for the next episode showed Jennifer and Nathan continuing to fight viciously (with Jennifer saying to Nathan three times, "I hate you") and A & H even getting in to their own battle.
